I am as happy as I have ever been with an iPhone (and that is very happy). As bad a taste as the 6 plus left in my mouth I may not opt for a launch day device. I amy still get a 7 but I will have to read here and see what people are saying about it. T-Mobile makes upgrading easy anyway, and since they paid off more than half the MSRP of one of my phones for me (happens to be my line) due to a billion erros on their part, I will likely be buying it out, though to maximiaze I need to fulfill my 18 month "lease", which I plan to do anyway.

I am always excited for new tech, so I am curious what new features Apple brings to the game. I am really hoping for NFC payments (using the phone as a terminal to accept payments), though I imagine this is more software than hardware.

Ill be ready for many iPhone's to come, had every single model expect the first model... Can't wait to see what they will bring to the table this time

14 grams is a tough weight to bear, and I also struggle with the loss of the ~4 credit cards worth of space taken up by the 6s larger case.

Its not the extra 14g, its the total weight (around 250g with case and screen protector) and the overall size of the plus version thats bothers.
Most of you will think its only ~250g, whats the big deal? well, when you carry in your pockets every single day your wallet, keys and phone (easily half kilo > 600g), the extra weight begins to be important for some.

Personally i think the 5s had the best size-weight ratio, and i hope the rumored 4" screen will be the same...

Two features i am looking forward to. Dual front speaker and wireless charging. No oled since it sucks outside.

Hey Grumps. What are you judging the speaker quality on? My 6S+ is fine for calls, alert tones and ringtones. It's clear, crisp and plenty loud enough. In most respects it is probably better than the 6+ in these regards.

However, when it comes to music playback there is no comparison for me. The 6+ loudspeaker was warm, had rolled-off treble and rich lower mids. It even had a stab at some bass and was non-fatiguing to listen to. The 6S+ is extremely bright, fatiguing and has zero bass. The lower mids are barely present and it is a considerable step backwards when it comes to music playback. I find it painful to listen to and it hurts my ears.

I don't believe that my speaker is bad because I've had a few 6S+ now due to various faults, and they all had lousy loudspeakers.

PS, sorry to hear about your glitches.:(
I was judging on all of it, and especially the music playback. I was really shocked how good my iPhone 6S Plus sounds playing music through the built in speaker. It was loud, clear and rich. My 6 Plus was very tinny and couldn't play back very loudly before it would sound "buzzy".

Sometimes when my Bluetooth speakers need to be recharged I'm perfectly content to listen to music through the built in speaker on my 6S plus.

I have not tried out my husband's 6S plus to see if there's a difference. If I get a chance this weekend I will compare the two.

I know there can be a significant difference in sound quality between two units that are the same model because a couple years back when we ordered our retina mini iPads, my husband let me test the speakers so he would let me keep the one that sounded best to me and he'd take the other one. I wasn't expecting a difference because they were the same exact model and specs, but there was one.

It's a little frustrating but there seems to be a lottery for nearly every feature and aspect of Apple devices. I guess that's true for other manufacturers as well, but I just don't remember this much variance when my husband and I had Treos and T-Mobile Dashes and all the other twinned smart phones and hand held computers and tablets we've had over the years. In fact our smart phones were so identical I used to put little stickers on mine so I could tell them apart. (Back when our smart phones were too thick and too sturdy for cases).

We started noticing lotteries and variances with the iPad 3 and up, if I recall correctly.

My 6+ had the best loudspeaker for music playback I've ever heard on a phone, including the twin speaker jobbies. Just lovely and warm with a rolled off treble. How I like it. I was gobsmacked by how good it was as I was just expecting a typical 'phone' speaker.

Lotteries...yeah.:(

I'm loving the 6s and planned to keep it a while. That is Until Verizon announced the yearly upgrade. We will see what it looks like at that time. :)

Do we really need to see it? I just want it released and I'm buying it hahah

Betting apple will implement stylus
"A stylus, yuck no one wants a stylus. You have to find it, keep it somewhere, loose it....no not a stylus. Let's use something we all have ten of"

Looks around, who said that? Scratches head....someone said that a while back. ;)

Funnily enough I watched the original iPhone reveal video yesterday for nostalgia lol.

I do that every so often as well. A masterful presentation. Have you read some of the back ground provided by people that were there. It's fascinating how everything was on the razor thin opportunity for things to have gone as right as they did.

Each department head taking a drink in the audience as their part worked successfully. The several phones set up on podium should one fail during presentation. The cell phone tower set up using Japanese frequencies to limit outside interference and provide better connectivity. The hours of practice rehersals where not everything would work correctly. The effort that went into this presentation is truely worth looking into. Google it.

Trust me you would use it. Nobody wanted a bigger screen remember
