Any issues with the phone being slippery? Did it get less slippery as time went on?

I tried the phone with out a case, but this phone seems more slippery than the ones from years past. I feel like a case gives it extra grip.

Got Applecare+ for my iP6+ but have the black leather apple case when I go out but sometimes I go caseless. Not too worried since I have applecare :) the phone is too beautiful to be in a case, rocking it in its birthday suit LOL.

I initially bought the Otterbox Symmetry case when I bought my iPhone 6 and used the case for about a week. It was the first time I ever had any of my iPhones in a case, and only did so to protect the protruding camera lens. I have since taken the case off, it just feels better without the case, and I'm confident that the sapphire crystal will help prevent any problems.

Interesting thread. I was one of the Otterbox types. Didn't like the bulk that much, but never spent much time thinking about it. Discovered Caudabe "The Veil" not too long ago and am in love. It's like going "naked", but now I don't have to worry about scratching up my phone on table tops or in my pocket.

i have always ran all my iPhones naked, as well as my iPads. Only thing I've ever put in cases are iPods.

But when I bought this phone it felt legitimately slippery and like a problem waiting to happen, so I bought a PowerSupport Air Jacket (clear, non-force version). A couple weeks back I took it off to run the phone naked for a couple weeks which was nice, but I actually found that I now prefer the nice PS case to the phone being naked so I actually put it back on and like it better that way. I like that the case protects the protruding camera lens and allows me to lay the phone anywhere (I never lay an unprotected phone on a hard surface which is sort of annoying at times)

Just started rocking it naked a few days ago and I'm never using a case again...

Love the feel of metal.

I always rocked my android phones naked, but when I switched to iPhone i just couldn't do it. I cant stand cases. With my iPhone I ended up getting a Caudabe case which is as close to naked as you can get. I would love to go naked but I just cant do it.

Same. I used my M7 naked and pretty much never dropped it. It was scratched up on the back from being placed on hard surfaces though. I was planning to do the same with my iPhone 6, but it's just too risky. This thing is magnitudes more slippery and I can't see it surviving a fall at all. So many of my friends have shattered screens because they never used a case with this phone

I still sometimes like to take the clothes off my 6+ just because I like the feel of it in my hand. But for the most part it lives in my Apple leather case, which is getting lovely and worn.

All of you "nude" users, how do you "protect" your phone when placing it down on a table etc?

Same here. It's sad because the rounded shape and metal feel so good, but I have found that the 6+ becomes very slippery, a problem I've never had with an iPhone before. I got a leather Apple case back in February but it seems like the "lovely and worn" look that I've been anticipating is taking a very long time. Aside from a few little nicks in the leather, it looks pretty close to new. I actually like this case, which is a first. Leather just feels really nice.

One annoying thing I've noticed with a case is that my camera lens gets dirty and stays dirty. Because it's recessed, it doesn't get wiped clean by my pocket and I have to remember to give it a swipe with a balled-up bit of my shirt once in a fairly frequent while. I had a period where every picture looked just awful, like there was fog near any light source. Turned out to be dirt and finger grease, as my finger tends to find the camera cutout is a nice place to sit.

Especially the 6 plus. (Camera)

I don't protect it, the lens is sapphire and has never scratched. I used mine naked for several months, screen scratches like crazy and finally shattered when I dropped it on concrete. So, I dropped by the Apple Store and grabbed another one (AppleCare+). It's just way too big/cumbersome with a case on it.

Just wondering how does your iPhone 6 or 6+ body holds up? scratches or anything like that.

I have a 5s still and will be upgrading to the "new" iPhone assuming it come's out this year and as we know it will probably be the same body as current "6". So, wondering if the casing will be needed now or no?

I've been carrying my 5s (grey) naked for the last 7 months and so far quite a few chip on the corners and the shiny line that goes around the phone is a bit chipping up from normal use.

yes, (well I use full body skins)

actually I have yet to drop any of my phones ever. BUT, i had my phone on my work bench and using a grinder. It vibrated off and fell about 6 feet to the ground.

I only ended up with a cracked outter glass screen (protector) and a couple of dings to the sides. Nothing major and I was shocked/relieved
