Who's upgrading their iPhones to the 8.1 release tomorrow?

Of course. Why wouldn't I? All my iDevices shall be upgraded as soon as the update is seeded.
 
will update all my iOS device as soon as possible, i really wanna get my sms text on my macbook air and iPad mini 2... Need that wifi connection fix too.. Now I'm on 8.0.2 with a 6+
 
Is it better to just update through itunes or restore and update? I'm on iPhone 6 Plus, I just want this laggyness gone asap.
 
I am going to waiting to see anyone's phone on MacRumors blows up after updating to 8.1 .... if there isn't any problems after a couple hours, I'll update
 
My Mondays are busy, so I'll probably wait until Tuesday for my 1st gen iPad Mini to see how it goes. Not sure when I'll do my iPhone 5. Camera Roll is back, but all my apps that can upload photos updated to use Recently Added :( I'm also surprised we're getting 8.1 this early (keep in mind that Apple Pay is useless from my perspective since none of my devices can use it). 7.1 was in March, right? Not sure about 6.1 or prior.
 
I will definitely update as I welcome any bug fixes. But I'll probably end up doing it when I'm sleeping.
 
I am going to do the update, although probably wait a couple of hours to make sure there are not early reports of significant issues - not that Apple's record isn't perfect in this area. :)

I could be full of it, however I am thinking that the release will be well before the typical time of releases, given that Apple Pay has been announced to begin tomorrow. I am thinking that they will not wait until early afternoon eastern time with Apple Pay being part of this.

I will. I don't usually leave work for lunch but I might go to the nearest store (Walgreens) to try it. I never go there but I'll buy a soda or something to try it.

Whoa, big spender here haha.

Apple Pay isn't available in the UK yet which sucks. If it was I'd make the move to the 6 but seeing as it's not, I'll stay with my trusty 5s.
 
Of course. I'm running 8.1 B2 and its still a little buggy on my 6+. I need as many bug fixes as I can get.

Plus, I'm sure the jailbreak will be based on 8.1 or higher.

Hopefully you will have Apple Pay in the UK soon.

As far as the big spender, it's ramen noodles and off-brand soda for me because I splurged on a new Phone ;)

I kept my 5s too. I always wanted a second line and the 5s is too beautiful to sell.

The update will post while I'm at work, but one of the vending machines has a contactless cc reader. That will be my test run lol.
 
Can it technically be a way for iPhone owners to show off their phones? Haha

Can't you also restore an 8.0.2 backup? Ask only bc new to iPhone--:)
