...so did you update to 8.1 and did it improve your iPad 2?

Updated my ipad3 with ok results, better but not by a lot. I had to wait until this morning to update the ipad2 (I'm in trouble for the initial upgrade). I'll post when I look at it tonight.
 
Updated on my 6+ from original iOS8 when I first got my phone. Better landscape transition now and the issue with SwiftKey seems to be fixed now. Much smoother.
 
Only thing I'm going to decide on is am I just going to update like before? Or shall I do clean as new install? I get the impression from most that a wipe clean and start a fresh is best on the major updates like point 1 releases and the minor ones being safe to update and retain all data!

I'm suffering no dodgy battery life or anything but I'm always one to keep things fresh and just like any os a clean slate every now and then is good for it!
 
I updated through iTunes on my 4s, 5s, and iPad Retina. Much better performance on all three of them. Go for it.
