I bought two iPad 2's on launch day - 64gb wifi black, 32 gb wifi black. No bleed, no yellowing. I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of these units. The reason you hear from the ones with the problems is because those of us that have no issues don't feel the need to start threads about it.
For the record, my first gen. iPad had light bleed, but it was so scarcely noticeable that I didn't care. The new ones have none that I can see. I am extremely pleased with them. For those that I've seen that have an iPad 2 with blatant and obvious bleed/yellowing under normal conditions, drop them like a bad habit and get replacements.
For the rest...well, to each his own but you could just try enjoying your new iPad instead of running non-stop experiments on them to see if there might be a hair-thin, 1/8th inch long bleed in the bottom left hand corner with the brightness cranked in a closet with a blank black screen.
