Why aren't people considering the Tcolor L32660

The Kuycon G32P has the LG screen. The Tcolor has a somewhat lower end AUO screen.
However, I’m hopeful the Tcolor doesn’t have the firmware bugs that the Kuycon has. Also, the Tcolor has real buttons for the settings, not that awkward remote control setup.

From what I have read they have fixed the HDR issue with Macs. Not sure about any other bugs? So you are saying it is possible the Tcolor may have a slightly worst screen but better stability. Will be interesting to see if that is the case. A side by side comparison would be good to see.

Yes, all Chinese monitors have generic firmware updating software that runs only under Windows.
Only the big brand monitor makers seem to write their own maintenance software.
That's what you are paying for when you buy an LG (etc) monitor... 😉

The LG firmware updater is part of a larger application that is kind of a bloated mess so I deactivated that application after the firmware update. However, there is a separate monitor calibration application that can store two custom calibration settings right on the monitor. That’s what I used to configure the monitor for a user selectable Display P3 profile on the monitor, independent of macOS’ display settings.
You said the firmware was buggy, hence why I said stability. Just wondered what issues it has had, I think I asked before and it was stated issues like the HDR were not working?

That was one of the issues but another issue was that 4:4:4 chroma did not work on Thunderbolt 4 / DP 1.4 Macs, since DSC was non-functional.
Has this been fixed?
This works fine on the LG and AFAIK also on the Asus.
All I know is people state the HDR has been fixed. Guess you will need to ask in the Kuycon thread for specifics?
I've just had dell U3224KBA for a week, and initially was quite flabbergasted how ugly this monitor is...
However, I must say it grew on me, the coating stopped bugging me that much and the only problem left was the top bar with speakers and camer. I hope I will not regret swapping for tcolor! It is on the way.

Has anyone that's purchased the L32660 actually had their's shipped out yet? It looks like mine has been stuck at the 'Electronic information submitted by shipper' stage for quite a while (purchased Jan 27th). I was quoted 8-12 days for shipping but looks like that didn't happen.
I ordered mine on 4.2 and it has moved, been stuck on "declaration and document review" since the 9th. Current shipping company is "Hualiangang".
Mine says 'pick up success, in transit' today by Alibaba logistics. Got ups tracking no but ups says package not with them yet.

Cant say for sure but yours could already be with another company, they supposedly use dpd atleast in Europe. It is normal for these Chinese ”triangle” shipping methods to change companies during transit.
The TCOIOR agent I dealt with on Alibaba mentioned UPS as the shipping method (to BC, Canada) in the initial quote ... I'm hoping I'll get a tracking number sooner than later.

Dunno about Tcolor, but for several other orders I've gotten from China, I didn't get the proper local tracking numbers until the items landed in Canada and customs was cleared with the item in the local courier's possession.
Conversely, in some instances, I had full tracking in China, and then no local tracking number once it landed in Canada because it was with a different courier company. However, occasionally one can use either the prior tracking number or a reference number to track it in Canada, with some courier companies.

Looks like it arrived in Mississauga this morning and Canada Post is now taking over (I was hoping UPS instead) ... estimated delivery is 1 to 11 business days.
