No, I didn't, I don't believe. One of the fastest workstations on the planet, and because you'll refuse to say anything other than this, you're a troll.

And where in this source does it say anything (paraphrased) along the lines of "This processor sucks for everything that a server shouldn't do"?

Because I'd love to see that.

If it is a WORKSTATION then why does it use a SERVER CPU? I can take a supercomputer, install Windows on it, and call it a workstation, but it wont do the things I want it to do because it wasnt built for it.
Also, Belleraphone is my friend. He knows less about computers than me, and wanted me to come on and prove to you that PCs are better with some technical knowledge.

Like he just accidentally stumbled upon this thread and started posting in it? Is it because you're the same person and you lost track of who said what?

Also, please read the first sentence in the Wikipedia page on Xeon processors.

A processor can both be a workstation CPU as well as a server one. They are not mutually exclusive qualities.

One of the primary advantages of a server CPU is that power consumption is lower at idle compared to consumer CPU's and is meant to run stably without restart/shutdown. Surely you can see the advantage of that even in a non-server environment?

I wrote a proof-of-concept program to demonstrate a security flaw in Windows 7's UAC, under default settings with beta build 7000 (also confirmed on 7022). This simply copied a file to Program Files without the user's consent. In other words, it performed a file copy to a protected location, bypassing UAC.

So, thanks to Windows 7's "convenience", you can harm the system without triggering the UAC. And, according to Microsoft, "it's a feature, not a bug".

Also, claiming "PCs/Windows are better" just shows that you don't know anything about computers. If you did, you would know that broad claims like this make absolutely no sense and that what is "better" depends on a lot of different factors, some of them being completely subjective (like this one: I use OS X because I am much more productive with OS X than with anything else).
 
Okay, well then, please define workstation.
Also, that still requires user interaction. It still relies on the idiot in search of fr33 v1@gr@.exe to run the program.

Okay, lemme rephrase that. Windows and PCs are better than Mac OS X and Macs in general if your IQ is over 75.
 
I am accepting the views of others as possible alternatives. After all, everybody should be equal, and less fortunate people with lower IQs should have the right to use computers. Apple is making computers easier for them.

Actually, Im serious when I say Macs suck horribly. They are overpriced, have inferior hardware (for their price), and their OS sucks. Seriously, when I used Mac OS X it felt completely like a web OS. I couldnt find any software for it that I needed, and generally couldnt really do much with it. I looked at the cool coverflow, checked out some other things, and then ran sudo rm -rf /. I seriously had more fun destroying the Mac OS X VM than I did using it. I wasnt really biased prior to that, and you can see how much I am now. Seriously, just give me ONE REASON why a Mac is better than a PC that isnt personal opinion (LOL MAC OS X IS BETTAR CAUSE IT IS PRETTIAR)

If you couldn't find software you have never used OS X or you're too incompetent to use a computer.
