^My apologies for ranting. I agree the iPhone has always been the gold standard. With that said, these days, for those that "know"....they are no longer kings. As much as many hate Samsung these days, they are doing big things with their phones and Android has matured 10 fold from the days of gingerbread, ice cream sandwich, jellybean. Again, I love both OS's. Now if there was some way to get FoxFi dev's to figure out a way to get it to work in iOS (Verizon UDP user here).

I will post my battery score when I reach 1%, this will be my 2nd charge results.
Right now I'm at 69% usage 3 hr, 26 min, standby 12 hr, 22 min.
My results may not be for another full day as it appears I'm going to easily get 2 days.
[doublepost=1459649148][/doublepost]I can still remember having my iPhone 5 and even when the battery was brand new it was hard to get through the whole day on a full charge, by end of day I was usually getting very close to no battery. Now with the SE, I'm easily getting 2 days...who would have imagined Apple could have given us such a great battery on the SE, it's probably one of the best features of the SE.

I just wish we could get an actual screen on time stat like Android....that paints a much better picture than "usage" time. I'll have my SE sometime next week and will probably hold on to my Note 5 for a bit and can compare the two. I'll be on vacation though so I'm not sure how much I will actually be using a phone.
It isn't exactly the same as on Android, but in battery settings just tap on the list of apps and it brings up their SoT used. Only thing is, to get an accurate picture you'd have to have 24 hours standby time for the numbers to be even remotely accurate; as it uses the stats from previous charge cycles in the last 24 hours. Then you just add them up. Also, you'd have to ignore the SoT stat from the phone app. Unless you leave your screen on during every minute of a phone call.

Here's mine from last night before I charged it.

Usage time isn't screen on time though. Mind showing your actual screen on usage? You could have been playing music all of this time, which would give the phone an impressive stats - but won't actually be a good indication of the actual phone use when the display is on

The photo attached was taken with 5% battery left. I fully charged it when it was restoring from backup. Waiting for it to die completely and then charge it from empty to full.

Edit. Mainly on 4G I might add...

I've never heard of most of those phones. The 6s plus has perfectly capable battery life among the top selling phones.

I wouldnt trust everything you read on gsmarena , that site hasnt been relevant for years lol.
Sounds like you need to get out of the Apple garden if you don't know what most of those phones are. A lot has changed in the Android space for manufacturers and flagship phones.

I regularly get 2 days from my iphone 6S plus if i don't constantly use it all day.

Seriously though do you know anyone who owns an xperia? would you ever consider buying one? I wouldn't.

Among the big players like samsung, google etc. the plus is easily the best in terms of battery life

Hello, I am new so please bear with me.

I was reading as a guest and I wanted to reply to this. I had an Xperia Z3+ and it gave me around 2 days with my personal typical usage and around 4-5 on Ultra Stamina Mode. The only thing I loved more than the camera was the waterproofing. I lost it once and filed an insurance claim. Only to find that I had dropped it in a water trough a week previous. I cancelled the claim as it was still working fine.

I then went to a £120 Chinese phone with a 10,000mAh battery and that lasts me around 10-12 days.

I have since got the SE and I found that with the phone coming with 86% and I charged it up to 100 using my Imac, I got just over 2 days with it (about 49.5 hours) So this is fantastic.

My Android phone will charge a 6S+ 3 times and have 10% battery left so I know that really is a 10,000mAh battery.

I just thought I should also back myself up with a picture of the thing taken from my SE (i've been using it heavily on LTE for about 3 days hence the drop, but still good)

Did you not read his first comment directed at me? It was childish. "No offence, but I don't know where you have been since the release of the Plus".....and a simple look at my signature would show I have owned a Plus, or numerous posts in the past about my Plus. I work in a world of no BS and while I like my humor, knocking someone down a notch while sitting behind the comfort of their keyboard is weak at best. A lot of unchecked online statements, like his, translate much over into the real world interactions with people as many today lack any class and respect. It's sad.

Furthermore my fiancé's 6S was married to the charger. She was a loyal iOS user until that phone. We even swapped it out with another 6S and the same results. For the first time, during her 6S ownership, I heard her say, I miss Android. I know I know, a sample of one. But none the less, she got the Galaxy S7 and has been absolutely thrilled. I however love both OS's and can call a spade a spade w/out the loyalty to a certain OS or brand b/c while I pour out large amounts of money for these products, I have no stake in whether they succeed or fail.
As a side note....signatures don't show up in Tapatalk. I, for one, haven't been on my laptop for weeks, so it may be possible that he/she could not see your signature.

.......carry on.......

I have 41h 36m standby and 7h 47m usage.

I still have 36% battery left. I haven't charged since 7am Friday.
This is really impressive. I still feel that the biggest win for the SE will be battery life.

I'm anxiously awaiting my results from my 2nd charge but I'm only at 54% battery now, usage is 5hr, 20min, standby 24hr, 27min. I've also been on the net the most, 70% if my battery in the past 24 hrs has been safari. This is also all LTE Verizon as I don't use wifi much at all since I have unlimited data.

I still feel like you won't have a real sense of a phones real life battery life until several days into its usage. I believe the iOS figures out some optimization for your usage during a few days of use. And there are also internal set up things that are going on. And you probably futz and play with the phone in different ways for the first two days. There are also apps that you have to reconnect to. Or bluetooth devices to connect to. Lots of little things that only get discovered during usage even when you restore from a backup.

Two day battery life is nice. But the key thing is for the phone to be absolutely unbeatable = even in your hardest usage and longest day. When it can make it through that day, that is great. The other key thing is only going to become apparent for many users years from now. Most users will charge over night. But eventually the battery degrades and even that is insufficient for older iPhones. I think the SE is going to not have an issue making through a day for the light users which will be buying these phones second hand two years from now. That is going to be a key factor for the phone's longevity.

If I were other handset makers, I'd really be nervous about how I'm going to make phones that compete with iPhone SEs two years from now when they are selling on the used market for $200 and they run the latest iOS fine and they still have all day battery life for a typical or lower usage user.

If you see my post above - that phone goes for a long time and cost $179 new.

Well, to be fair, there are more things that use the battery on the 6S. The screen is bigger and higher quality. The Taptic Engine takes up more power. 3D Touch takes more power. So, you're definitely giving up some things for the amazing battery life. Very well could be worth it for many people though.

Loving the SE so far. Charged it early AM on Friday morning and at 12:39CDT on Sunday it still has 48% left. Incredible battery life on the phone so far.

Not too thrilled about the battery life. Received SE on launch day in the mail, but seemingly barely lasting a day. Do I have a dud?

- Did not restore from backup
- Clean app installs
- Used it for a few days now and the battery percentage seems to tick downwards almost 1% every couple minutes while screen is on.
- My 6+ lasted way longer than this.
- Phone seems to run mildly warm at times for no rhyme or reason
- Have Facebook + Facebook@work installed but when checking 'Battery' stats it does not even show up but at the bottom.
- Safari seems to be the main killer using 24% of the battery. Home and Lock Screen takes up 10%

It seems something is eating your battery those results don't look very good.

I restored from backup using iTunes. I'm on 2nd charge and currently at 38% usage 6hr 17 min standby 28hr 45min I've using a lot of safari and watching videos u tube

I'm going to set it up as a new phone now and not install any apps and see how it goes for day or two. If it continues to be this bad I will be exchanging it for a new one.

I set it up as a fresh phone and it is doing fine. Maybe there is something rouge on there and you will need to put each app on to see which one causes a sudden drain.

Wow it is impressive the testimonies I've being reading about the iPhone SE's battery life. I was going to get one this weekend to replaced an old iPhone 5 since

I have my 64 iPhone 6s unlocked to my son, but after going from store to store and couldn't get the 64GB model (they only have the 16gb), so I ended up getting a 16gb 6s for my son and I got my 64gb 6s back. But with the 6s's we do get great battery life, I would assume with an SE it would strength out more.
