Why is the OP so obsessed with iOS 7? Is it really going to impact their life that much?

He's a troll, and trust me, it wont.

I've been using iOS7 this 3 weeks and by now I can tell you that it just feels normal, like it does every time you buy something new and the rush has worn out.

Not saying it's bad, just saying it won't change anyones life.

*And why does Android need anti viruses programmes on it?

Probably to protect against things like this. Apparently Bluebox Security let Google know about it in February of this year, but, it's up to phone manufacturers to release any firmware updates, so many won't be protected against this exploit for some time yet as certain manufacturers are notoriously slow to do this.

The Bluebox Security research team – Bluebox Labs – recently discovered a vulnerability in Android’s security model that allows a hacker to modify APK code without breaking an application’s cryptographic signature, to turn any legitimate application into a malicious Trojan, completely unnoticed by the app store, the phone, or the end user. The implications are huge! This vulnerability, around at least since the release of Android 1.6 (codename: “Donut” ), could affect any Android phone released in the last 4 years1 – or nearly 900 million devices2– and depending on the type of application, a hacker can exploit the vulnerability for anything from data theft to creation of a mobile botnet.

Without iOS there wouldn't even be Android, -_- saying iOS "copied" is starting to be an old argument.

Like I say I switched to Android and hate it..makes me realise why Apple has went for this?

*Let me start things like NFC are tucked away in menus and no wonder nobody uses it as it's hardly visible.
- I use Notification Centre all the time. You don't have to see something to use it.

*The extra mega pixels don't produce more than a 8mp Iphone 5 quality wise.
- ??

*The Thin clock also in IOS7 takes a few glances rather than once like IOS6.
- I'm used to it. It's perfect.

*And why does Android need anti viruses programmes on it?
- No idea.

*Apps on Android take forever.
- Ok.

*Why has Apple almost 100% copied google chrome with the window tabs in Safari?
- Not 100%. You're overrating it. It looks like Apple took a bit of inspiration from Google Chrome for iOS. We all need to do that sometimes.

*And the whites in Windows phone ect.. and IOS7 are too bright on the eye.
- It's perfect for me.

*The control centre isn't really needed. In Android like I say it's over complicated and makes the OS clunky and awkward to use.
- You have no idea how much Control Centre means to me. I use it all the time. Since I downgraded to iOS 6, I miss it the most.

What is your worst thing about Android? I'm sure we could all pick loads but for the consumer you are FORCED android almost as there's only Windows/Blackberry taking a tiny market share.

There's tech geeks who love Android and the eco system of it ect.. but over all people buy an HTC as it looks good or a Sony as it looks good not because of Android. Many people I know who use Android phones moan about the slowness of it..crashes and apps taking forever to download.

So the big question why did Apple not yes update IOS make it fresh but in a more discreet way than take all what's horrendous in Android and take it over to IOS7?

Steve Jobs said Android copied Apple. Apple have copied Android clearly somebody in Apple now rates Android software quite high?

You know what sucks about Android? Let me tell you:

1. Every Android phone (other than the nexus 4) comes pre-installed with garbage apps from the carrier you can't remove unless you root the phone.

2. Every Android phone (other than the nexus 4) comes pre installed with the manufacturer's OS layer (HTC Sense, Moto Blur, Samsung Touchwiz).

3. Most Android phones CANNOT be updated to the latest version of Android OS because all the crap listed in #2 takes up too much damn internal space.

4. No "Push". On Android phones in order for an app to notify you of something it has to be open and running. There is no concept of "Push" that Apple offers. (No, I'm not talking about e-mail).

5. Lack of #4 is why Android battery life suffers if you have to keep X amount of apps open so you dont miss a notification.

I agree with everything you said except this one. I've been researching this and its not actually a skin. Its worse and this is why. Companies like samsung, htc, sony etc. take android and rewrite it to make their own. So its no longer stock android it is its own OS based on android. So now android has no say as to what comes on the phone or if it is updated. Since android is free the manufacturers can do what they please with it. Then the carrier does their thing with it. So you end up with a OS that is made to satisfy them and not you.

I was trying to keep it simple. If I even went back to Android I'd go for a Nexus series. Vanilla Android so much faster and smoother than its clunky remakes put out by phone makers.

You'd be surprised how little internal storage space Vanilla android takes. Most of the Bloat is the phone maker's remake.

The sad part is you and your friend can both have an "Android" phone and they don't even look the same. Talk about confusion.

I'm fond of HTC's the most because its elegant.

Great explanation of what a skin is and isn't.

google didn't invent anything. Its just a copy of apple and microsoft.

This is hilarious. Especially since one of Jobs' most famous quotes is "Good Artists Copy, Great Artists Steal".

Can't really stand some of you apple fanboys. This is the way of the world. Everyone copies everyone. There are TONS of implemented features in iOS that were in Android first. And vice versa. Lets stop with the pissing contest already.

Im not in a contest I am arguing fact.

Honestly man, the grid look we've grown to know on the iPhone existed before the iPhone. Does the current Samsung TouchWiz (shudder) product look exactly the same? Yup. And it sucksssss.

But I mean, you can't use the argument that Apple invented something that comapnies are blatently copying, then turn around and say "Oh Apple isnt copying anyone, that feature has been around for a while". Honestly, Notification Center is a complete replica of what Android has. And while I'm on that, if you're listening Apple, why is it so hard to put a "Clear All" button on the notifications?

Im not saying apple invented anything. I am saying that iPhone was the first modern smartphone and that android looks just like it. WP8 looks different but the other don't.
