I don't need your help and I couldn't care less about what you think.
My MacBook was $1406.17 after taxes. It is completely unacceptable for something so expensive to have such terrible build quality. Let's not forget that, in the 19 months since I made the original purchase, I've had 3 instances across 2 MacBooks where the build quality has caused major issues. This system has hardly been used. All I use it for is emailing, light browsing, and syncing my iPhone and iPods. If it wasn't for OS X's excessive CPU use it would have never gotten warm at all. The handful of times I have used it as a portable, I set it down on all 4s evenly, and I never rest my palms or arms on the edge.
This is a simple case of piss poor build quality on Apple's part.
And this is the reason why Apple will never become a mass market product. Not because of the build quality issues or anything. But because of the fans like this being all around jerks and pushing people away.
Now you see that's the problem - you're just an angry little man who does just obviously like to rant and shout. I've offered to help even though we've argued before and yet you continue with throwing your toys out of the pram.
Obviously build quality should be top notch but your attitude reminds me of people who go into Indian restaurant and are rude to the waiters and other staff. Then wonder why someone pisses in their curry.
Considering you rather insulting and bigoted comments about Apple employees in the past - I feel sure you gave Apple the full mosx experience and upset someone there, like you do here.
As for you insulting Apple users - there is evidence in this thread alone of the OP who threatened to leave the world of Apple was trolled but also received lots of help from nice civilised people and got good service from Apple.
Even the OP said you were worse than the Apple fanboys and also asked you to stop hijacking his thread.
As always we only have your rather biased ranting opinion on how great HP is, but as you casually ignored it first time here is a repeat of a previous post of mine.
http://www.theacsi.org/ who show that Apple tops league tables as of 19th August 2008 for the 5th straight year. The university calculated the ACSI scores based on a consumer's overall satisfaction with a company's customer service, product quality and value, among other factors and Apple came out top again. Apple is well clear of both Dell and HP.
HP with 73 points and Dell with 75 compared to 85 for Apple. These scores are out of 100, which that means 27% of HP customers are not happy with HP.
That's real evidence
Ironically HP have dropped 4% since last year. Which is funny considering how much you said HP had improved since you jumped ship from them and bought a Mac a year and a half ago because of their terrible build quality.
Looks like yet again you didn't do your research and you've bought back into a company that's going down hill not up like Apple in the customer satisfaction stakes.
If you didn't spend so much time here trolling, arguing and giving only opinion instead of doing real research you might actually get somewhere in life.
