I don't think it's about owing, its about how we the consumer should be able to get more value out of what were paying for. You've seen Apple's profit margins on these iPhones right? Even if they threw in Airpods instead of a lightning connector, they would still be making a significant profit. As a consumer, I don't think I am entitled to anything, but it would be nice if they could add more value to what were paying for.

You want value?

Samsung is a great value. And they even include fast charging pheripherals.

Some quick calculations. Analyst Ming Chi Kuo's latest revisions of iPhone X shipments are 40,000,000 by the end of 2017F. Even if it costs Apple $79.50 per pair of AirPods, you're looking at $3.18 BILLION. quite a bit to just throw one in the box with an iPhone X.

They make enough, way too much. Especially lately with what they are putting out. It’s reminding me of Blackberry, eventually they all fall and with reason.

Define “way too much.”

Didn't Bloomberg had a report before the announcement that Apple might include Apple Music and/or iCloud storage for a year? Nothing substantial but it would have been nice gesture considering X will be close to 1500 (applecare and tax added).

So I am curious....why is Apple charging extra for the equipment to be able to utilize fast charging? You'd think for the price, they would include it. I just cannot wrap my hand around this move?!

X has cost lot to apple i read somewhere about $600, they need to run the company not charity. So many employees so many expenses. We can use regular charging which is not bad at all.

Charity? Lol. They are still making a huge huge profit for the price of what they are charging at least they can add in the fast charger.

I'm not saying that Apple should or shouldn't have thrown in a fast charger, but I'm pretty sure that all the armchair CEOs on this forum would proceed to run any large corporation, including Apple, straight into the ground. :D

It’s a forum, where we discuss these things. Or would you rather we all just shut up?
Galaxy S8s include the fast charging bricks.
And have also included the wireless charging pad before.

Dont worry, they'll get it out to the masses in about 3-4 months. It will be in shorty supply, high demand and with long ETA shipping times.
In the amazing and magical price of only $89.99:D
But wait, there's more.
It comes in a cool and fancy travel carrying bag with a big shiny Apple logo on it!

You must be tired.
Yawn, about as tired as you are confused. So you complain about people discussing Apple products on a Apple forum, then when asked if you would prefer us to shut up, you then accuse me of silencing you? Carry on, I’m done with the crazy.

Lol

Where did he say that? He's just saying that y'all making decisions that wouldn't make a corporation successful...that's why if y'all were actual ceos...

He didn't say you guys shouldn't voice an opinion. It's not the "right" opinion in his opinion.

Jumping to conclusions.

Talk about confused.

Making remarks without any substantial knowledge or background in that area...yup, just proved his point.

Nice try. He said I was trying to stop him from making his opinion when he was the one criticizing people having a discussion, the whole point of this forum.

Yeah I'd never expect a wireless charging pad lol

Actually, Samsung is giving customers a free wireless charger and memory card (or a 360 degree camera) for those who preordered the Note 8. You have to wait for it to come in the mail, but it's still a decent freebie.

Nobody is accusing Apple of being generous with their products, but they definitely know how to make money for their shareholders and market cap.

The forums are full of complaints about Apple, but they continue to be very successful. And until that changes, they aren't going to change their value proposition.

I don't think anybody here expects Apple to gives things away free, just match their competitors offerings. Paying more for brand wears off after a few years especially when the market is tighter.

Maybe you should read the whole thread. Cause you just proved your own point about making remarks without substantial knowledge. Lmao.
