You know that there IS a home button there, right? It's just hard to see.Tilt your monitor a bit and you can see it.

But it's more than likely they're using a "grip" to hold the iPad, and rotate it.

I also believe most commercials say "Screen images simulated" now-a-days.

If you pay attention to the commercials, Apple doesn't use that copy because they aren't simulated. At least not for the iPhone 4 ads.

According to Arthur C. Clarke the Monolith in 2001 A Space Odyssey was 9 feet tall 4 feet wide and 1 foot thick (9X4X1). These, as has been mentioned in a previous post in this thread, are the squares of the first 3 integers. The aliens who left the Monolith wanted the finders to know that is was not of natural origin and to get them to look for the builders of it.

The dimensions of the iPhone especially the iPhone 4 although not to the 9X4X1 ratio are such that it does remind one of the monolith in the movie. Especially since it is all black except for the metal band.

Now all conspiracy thinkers take this info and see what you can come up with.
