has your email even gone through? I've sent multiple emails to no success. I've sent emails to info@iphonecaze.com, returns@iphonecaze.com and sales@iphonecaze.com only to get the following message back from Mailer Daemon:

"This mailbox does not have enough space to receive your message."

Same issues with email. I paid through PayPal so if they're going to try and pull any "overseas" funny business I'll just file a claim.

Honestly had I known they were based in Hong Kong, I would have never purchased the item. I don't like dealing with (CCC) China Commies Companies.

Hong Kong isn't China.

Same here, didn't realize where I was buying from until after I paid. I'll be interested to hear back from anybody who successfully returns and gets a refund from them. May have to open a paypal dispute, oh well live and learn.

I really can't believe the Caze has zero camera protection!

That's not a good sign. I didn't get any error return messages so I'm assuming it went through, but it's been since friday and I haven't heard back from them.

I sent an email Friday, Saturday and just last night.

I paid with PayPal as well. mine is still in the ordered and waiting phase. I wonder if I can cancel the transaction with PayPal since nothing has even been shipped.

Returned my Caze ThinEdge was well. With the camera bulge peeking over the bumper lip - it defeats the purpose IMO as it will not protect the camera during a fall or lay on the table scenario.

What is this "awesome" minimal black case that you picked up for your 7. Please let us know. Thanks.

That's a shame. I was waiting for people to receive theirs and post screenshots/thoughts about it before I decide to get it or not. It looks like I'm sticking with my CrashGuard, however thick it may be, at least it provides some camera lens lip protection, if minimal.

I'm confused...so you agree with me then?

Not really. Basically I'm saying that they're both the same ****

Update: I just returned my ThinEdge. We'll see how it goes but I'm confident that PayPal will come through if the vendor does not.

Ordered a CrashGuard through Amazon Prime that's set to arrive tomorrow. Initially I wasn't a fan of these CG but it's the only legit bumper I can find for the 7 that has sufficient lip on the front and the back. I'll have to live with the added width but it's still better than a case.

Ok. If you view Coke and Pepsi as the same thing, then sure, I can see how'd you view two political entities with different governments, languages, and types of currency as the same thing.

No worries.

My grandfather (RIP) said "Belly-wash" was any and all softdrinks and "Orientals" referred to anyone from Asia. Papa would be proud.

Your grandpappy was a smart, logical man. May he continue to rest in peace.

since they already accepted the PayPal payment, the representative from PayPal suggested I file a dispute. I went ahead and filed - I don't like (in past situations like this) how sometimes merchants lag in responding, and then finally respond after they ship the item. then you have no choice but to pay for return shipping (and sometimes a restocking fee). and if it's shipping from HK, I definitely wouldn't want to pay for return shipping.

Don't pay for anything. When you receive the package - don't open it and take it to your local post office and REFUSE it. Write "Refused, Return to Sender" on the outside and cross out your delivery address. They will scan it as Refused and it will be returned to Caze at no charge to you. Also you can track it with the SAME Tracking # as the one used for delivery.

We're not talking Taiwan here...Hong Kong is a part of China now, albeit one with a different currency and some governmental differences. Language wise, the majority there speak Cantonese...but so do a whole heck of a lot of the people in the south of China.

I have little disagreement with your points. My point was that it's misguided and ignorant to just call Hong Kong "China" and be done with it. It's not the same thing.

Never meant that it was the same thing. I stated that it is "close enough" and that's a fair point. Nothing ignorant about that man.

Just received my Caudabe Viel XT. For the most part pretty satisfied with the product. It looked a bit flimsy (esp for $20) when I first got it but I think it does the job of protecting my phone from scratches. I'm impressed with the back and it definitely provides protection to the camera unlike the CAZE Thin Edge case.

Hold up. So the "flimsy" Veil XT provides more protection to the camera than the Caze bumper???

Good Lordy. Glad I returned the ThinEdge bumper and purchased the CrashGuard instead.

Yeah. The CAZE left the camera pretty much exposed.

But don't forget that the CrashGuard doubles as a floatation device :) It's too bulky in my opinion. That's the reason mine is going back. No doubt it provides great drop protection though. My search for a nice thin bumper continues...

Please, can you post photos of the front of the phone??

Here's my RhinoShield + TechMatte edge to edge glass. (Please excuse the shoddy pics. Crappy light + iPad camera.)

Haha. You got me!!! I knew those words would eventually haunt me, especially since I'm now a proud owner of the CrashGuard.

Insert foot in mouth.
