^Me too. Which color are you are going for? I'm thinking about black, grey or dark blue for my black iPhone 7.

I wish I had a clue. Contacted them via email a couple of days ago and yet to hear back from them.

I emailed RhinoShield for CrashGuard measurement specs this morning and haven't heard back from them.

I'm getting black to go with the matte black. I thought about dark blue though. They have decent pictures on their site to give an idea. I keep thinking I saw a pic of a 6s+ in space grey with the dark blue, but I haven't been able to find it.

I put the Rhinoshield from my 6+ on my 7 and it looks to be a perfect fit (except for the left speaker being slightly blocked).I cant imagine there are any downsides to this - am I missing something?

I have the blue one from my iPhone 6+ and it looks nice, matches my midnight blue Apple watch band nicely. Since I already have the blue one (and it fits the 7 nicely), I'm torn between gray and black for my matte 7+.

Would you mind posting a picture?

The camera cutouts are different enough that I know people were worried about flash issues. And the volume buttons are slightly different too.

But hey, if it works, great!

the CrashGuard is THE one to get...

had it on the 6s Plus, but passed that phone on to a family member.

edit: just received an email that mine is finally being shipped along with their screen protector.

I received a response back from Evolutive Labs. Alex, the customer service rep said that the CrashGuard adds 3.1mm per side. That seems thick. I'm not sure what the specs of the original version are (1.7mm on each side according to a YouTube review?), so who knows if they slimmed it down with version 2.0.

That does seem thick. I'll see how it feels once I get mine.

they're definitely on the thick side and will give the phone a different feel on the sides, but it's that protection though.

There are better alternatives than CrashGuard. Rhino Shield is overrated and bulky/ugly-looking just like OtterBox products.

The Caze Thinedge for the 5/5s was my favorite case I've ever had for any iPhone. Interested to see how this one works out. The CrashGuard looks way too thick for my taste.

Here are the dimensions from the Amazon listing:
8.3 x 4.3 x 0.9 inches

Compared to the device at:
6.23 x 3.07 x 0.29

OMG it adds TWO INCHES to the height and 1.3" to the width?!? I think I'll be cancelling my order!

I STILL don't know why Spigen isn't making the aluminum bumper anymore. I LOVE mine on my 6s Plus. Had it on the 6 Plus as well. I emailed them and they never rescinded whether they were doing on e for the 7, but the 6 Plus one isn't even on their site anymore, so I guess Amazon is just selling off what Spigen has left?

That can't be possible. It looks slightly chunky but no way it's 2 inches. Look at the picture. You know what an inch all around would look like.

I got USPS tracking today. I'll post pics when it arrives.

that can't be inches. hmm

Spigen actually isn't that far from me.. hehe. but yeah, I had a couple of theirs in the past - a metal type one that caused reception issues and would dent the phone on hard enough bumps, and another one that actually offered some impact protection. I still have 2-piece one for my SE. it's a nice thin, flat shape (but I think it's just following the shape of the phone). it does offer decent protection against bumps but won't offer the amount of protection against drops like the CrashGuard will.

for my SE, here's a side-by-side of the Spigen (left), CrashGuard (middle) and Elago (right) just for a rough idea...

(the Spigen was like $35)

I think as far as protection goes, there's going to be an amount of thickness needed for 'give' upon impact. but it would be nice to have another, more minimal bumper even if for looks. I tend to like changing it up often.

Yea, something doesn't seem right with the Amazon CrashGuard measurements. Also, 0.9" is very thick!

Can you list out the actual measurements of the CrashGuard? Height, width and thickness?

here's all I could find from the site...

(my search skills suck.)

I did request from them the measurements though, since I inquired about being able to apply that current discount code (listed on their site) to my current pre-order.
