Well then there is hope! (I assume you meant 06/10/09) I ordered on the 10th also. I think Premier just sucks at updating their status site and we will all get our phones on the 19th.

There is no doubt about bad on updating status'. It has not updated since I placed order on 10th. Doesn't even show any status at all.

I'm not hopeful because my credit card hasn't been charged yet either.

I wished they just told us something even if it were to come after the 19th.
 
i wish premier had something more detailed other than processing order and shipping order. They need detailed descriptions! :mad: its been almost a week and it still says processing shortly. 1 week isn't short. :confused:
 
I just got off the phone with the Premier customer service. The lady told me that they will not even receive the iphones in their inventory until the night before the 19th and then they will send them right out to us. This verifies the fact that they are "shipping" on the 19th and not "shipped" on the 19th. She said most likely everyone will receive them on Monday. BUMMER!

as long as its not after monday, I'm ok! i've came to accept that already.... :( so i'm guessing majority of our "processing shortly" messages will change either thursday night or friday....but how does that explain tracking numbers for some premier customers? (unless people just got confused along the lines and thought they ordered from premier!)

Good to know. But really, ATT, how hard it is to write two sentences and update status for everyone with this information. It would drastically reduce people calling in.

From what the lady told me, it's not possible for someone who ordered through the Premier website to have a tracking #. She said to check for a tracking number on the 18th.

@djastrosexy yeah...seriously, if they were just communicate more, it would make everything less problematic. I'm sure they're tired of answering these questions and we're tired of wondering where our phone is!
 
premier members have any updates to their orders? just curious.
I called premier this morning to discuss the status of a recent return and I asked about the status of my 3gs ordered on the 9th. I was informed that it is still scheduled to ship on friday and I would most likely receive it on Monday. I am content with this as this is what I was told when I ordered it.
 
I'm content with Monday as well. I have friends coming in town this weekend and this way I'll be able to focus on hanging out with them instead of wanting to just play with my new phone. So as a note to everyone else. Find some cool tricks on the 3gs and post them on there so I can skip right to those on Monday!

could you please post back here if there any updates to their facebook or twitter pages? darn firewall at work blocks those sites.
 
I'd be happy to but alas I'm in the same boat as you (firewall). I'll check when I get home though.
 
Update for Premier folks:

I just chatted with an ATT Premier rep and my order is shipping the 18th. Below is the transcript.

Info about my order: placed on the 10th as a new customer -switched from Tmo - status still says back ordered on ATT site, says 'expect to start processing soon' on ATT Premier site.

Me: I know you guys are probably being inundated with iPhone questions. But I can't seem to find out when Premier orders will be delivered to customers

Temilko M: I'd be more than happy to assist you with this. You stated that your order is on backorder?

Me: Yes, according to 'https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status_results.jsp'

Me: i checked the status of my port (from T-Mobile) and it has gone through

Temilko M: I do apologize for the inconvenience. To better assist with the details on your order you will have to contact Order Management Center 1-866-499-8008 option 3 and then 2. This department will be able to assist you.

Me: Yes when I do that it says "we are having technical difficulties please try back later." I tried about 10 times throughout the day

Temilko M: I will see if I can find out anything. I do apologize again.

Me: I would appreciate that

Temilko M: The order will be shipped out on 06/18/09

Me: That is great news. Is this the case for all orders placed through Premier?

Temilko M: No, it is different shipment times going according to when the order was placed.

Me: Ok, so it's going out the 18th, for delivery on the 19th? I realize you can't make guarantees, but is the order being shipped overnight as it says on the normal ATT web site? Thanks

Temilko M: I do apologize, I can not guarantee that. The Premier site and the AT&T regular site is different.

Me: I understand. Are you able to tell me the type of shipping service? (Overnight, 2-day, Ground, etc.)

Temilko M: Federal express is the shipping carrier.

Temilko M: I do apologize but I am unable to see what type of service it is. You can contact Orders Management Center to assist with this issue. I apologize again.

Me: That's quite alright. You've been a big help and I appreciate you looking into all this for me.

Temilko M: Thank you for using AT&T Premier Support. We appreciate your business.

On their end, (according to ATT) it also says "processing" and she said that on our end, it will stay "processing" or "back ordered" until Friday. Just letting you guys know what info I got.

Instead of listening to an idiot minimum wage rep why don't you listen to the official vid that AT&T just posted to Youtube that indicates that if you ordered the device by June 12th their expectation is that should have it at your door on the 19th.

The reps don't know crap but you people keep calling them anyway.

i was actually calling them about number porting, but no need to be rude about it. Like I said, just telling you what info I got. What is the youtube link? or do you mean twitter/facebook ...

Premier customers have been told differently than normal ATT orders so we're just trying to figure it out. Clearly waiting and seeing is what we're going to have to do, but it doesn't hurt to try and figure out what's going on.

It states that if you pre-ordered on att website, it says it will arrive at the address on the 19th and "you probably got an email with that information"

Majority of the people who have ordered it from the att website has already gotten a tracking number.

What we are talking about is ordering from ATT Premier, which we haven't got any information other than "We have received your order request, and we expect to begin processing it shortly." We've had the same message for about a week now.

If it arrives on our door on the 19th, that would be great, but it honestly doesn't look that way.

Here's the Facebook response, as promised (for those behind firewalls):

AT&T at 1:36pm June 17: All customers, including premier customers, will get an email with tracking information. A Web Order Number is provided when the order is submitted in Premier that the customer can use to check the status of their order online. Once the device has been shipped, another email will be sent to you with shipping tracking information. All orders placed via business channels on or before June 12th will begin to arrive as early as the 19th. Orders placed after the 12th will arrive 7-14 days after the order was placed.

This type of language is used to avoid making guarantees in the off-chance an order gets held up for reasons out of their control. Sounds like we'll have our phones on the 19th though. The Premier rep I chatted with told me my order would be shipped tomorrow (18th) since I ordered on the 10th but would not guarantee delivery on the 19th (same as FB Rep).

**** I'm getting caught up in the hype. :D Oh well. Life's short.
 
I am a Premier customer and I ordered my 3GS from Apple.com. It verified that I was eligible for an upgrade and it will be delivered Friday. it is overseas somewhere this morning where Apple put a hold on the delivery until Friday.
