Thats a good thing to have if you have a set amount of data per month.
But they'll have to make it to be able to count the data on 3G and Edge and not on wifi right?

Yes, it just counts "metered" data.

well any way it's still probally better than what the us has. isn't the 7.2MPS att starts later this year their 3.5G.

Yep, my carrier currently offers 14.4 Mb/s over UMTS, to be upgraded to 21 by Christmas and 42 next year.

From that list of carriers, the following have announced that they will be moving to LTE by 2010-2011.

And my carrier (Telecom NZ) is moving to LTE too. It's definitely where things are going. Although I own a CDMA phone, I don't actually use it anymore as I ported the number across to a new UMTS phone a couple of weeks ago. Personally I have no wish for a CDMA iPhone, but I'm not actively trying to dissuade Apple from producing one.

why would you even want the iPhone on Verizon their plans suck.
AT&T

As a consumer, I really don't understand this kind of mentality. It really boggles my mind. Why these people don't welcome or flat out refuse more competition?? Are they insane??

If you like AT&T, then just stay with AT&T. But, understand this: more competition = better deal for the consumer.

As for me, I want all 4 carriers to have iPhone and I want to see 'real' iPhone-killing smartphones. More the better. Then, the iPhone will be even better!

Yes, I like the competition, but Verizon is no competition, but a bunch of scammers and scum bags.

T-Mobile would be nice choice, it really would has a known cheaper priced plans carrier will force AT&T to rethink their current prices (like the 1st Gen iPhone's data plan $20 got you unlimited data + 200 texts...I miss that). Sprint, meh, dieing breed, so sorry they don't count anymore. I mean, Verizon charges the same if not more than AT&T does in many fronts and does not offer Rollover. So much for competition.
