Widespread iTunes and iCloud Apple ID "Couldn't be Found" Outage [Fixed?]

Weird, I'm from SD too but I noticed I couldn't access with my Apple ID, bummer.

Hopefully they're tinkering the system to allow me to convert my purchases on my Apple ID I used from freshman year to my iCloud account. Sick of using a 7 year old email address.
 
Just noticed it my self (The Netherlands here) but for some reason it seems my phone (Windows Phone 7.5) can sync my MobileMe mail just fine.

Hi guys. This morning iTunes Match came out in the UK. I got it ASAP on my main iTunes computer and all went well. BUT when I went onto my iPhone 4, I couldn't log into my iTunes account. I went downstairs, turned the TV on and Apple TV said my account wasn't authorised or something bazaar like that. I tried logging in to my Apple Account on my Apple TV and it wouldn't accept my login. I went onto my MacBook Pro and the same issue occurred: I could not log into iCloud or iTunes with my Apple ID. Very annoying!

I'm getting the message: 'The Apple ID you entered couldn't be found or your password was incorrect. Please try again'.

This is very annoying. Hope Apple find a fix quick because I use Apple's products 24/7.
 
I can see this as being a bigger issue for users who need to login to iCloud to use the "Find My iPhone" feature. Lost/stolen iPhones within a certain distance or if it hasn't been restored are now free for all.
 
Did anyone else notice that the System Status for iCloud (link in the main article) was current as of 12/05/11 18:30??? That was 11 Days ago.

Same problem here in Belgium. I guess they'll fix it rapido. They must already have lost a mountain of bucks with people not being able to buy anything. Wish my tax collector had the same problem from time to time.😉

that in New Zealand

itunes log in is failing
but iCloud seems to be working for now


apple have had a bad week 😱
 
Glad I'm not the only one having that problem... For me it all started with a request to change my password, then it just stopped working an hour later. Was it the same for you guys?

Glad I'm not alone. Thought my account was compromised for a few minutes there.
Apple servers must have just been told about Steve. I guess they are mourning as much as the rest of us. :-(

Well this is what happens when you launch iTunes Match in a few dozen countries over night.
