Yes, same problem here...
Yes, same problem here too. The moment I updated my 3G to 4.0.1, it appears to have stopped connecting to wi-fi. This has also been reported by other 3G users on the Apple forums.
I've tried the "super-duper-hard-reboot" a few times. I've tried turning the wi-fi off, then back on. I've even tried reseting the network settings, then reconnecting to the networks.
Let me float a theory: Under the wi-fi settings, it looks like I'm connected, with a checkmark by the network name. (My wi-fi options are not grayed-out, and I do not get any messages about being unable to connect.) It's simply that at the top of my phone, "3G" is displayed instead of the wi-fi bars. Is it possible that I really am connected, and the problem is that the wi-fi icon simply isn't displaying? How could I test this? In other words, how can I know for certain whether I'm connected via wi-fi or 3G?
NOTE: I am also going to post this theory in the Apple forums. If I get any useful information there, I'll share it here.
