Can we all stop calling it pink? It's so undermining to those who just like the color. It's called rose gold for a reason. Do I call someone gay because they look it, even if they are not? No, cause that's not what they are or want to be called.

On topic: I ordered it and after all the reviews I'm really happy with it! It's more coppery than I thought which is a plus :)

Can we all just stop calling it rose gold? The phone is so obviously pink and Apple using "rose gold" to describe it is nothing more than marketing. There is NOTHING gold about that color. It's just metallic pink. END OF STORY.

No, because I don't like the white antenna lines. Same reason as why I won't get gold.

We're more annoyed by Apple's color blindness and/or misleading advertising. It's all rose and no gold. Rose gold should have been warmer or more coppery.

Let's admit it: most folks who get the rose gold phone are those who want bragging rights of having the latest iphone ("don't you dare mistake it for 2014's models!"). The novelty factor. That is all.

My wish for the iPhone 7:

1) Get rid of the antenna lines on the back.
2) BLUE phone, with a dark front plate.
3) A refresh of the rose gold color, to make it truer to rose gold.
4) No camera bump.
5) Lighter in weight than the 6S/Plus (no 5.5" phablet should be almost 200g naked).

While I don't care about the weight/bump/rose gold/antenna lines, I do agree, a Blue phone would be KILLER. If they made a Blue iPhone ("Sapphire" maybe?) in the same blue as either the midnight blue band or the blue iPod touch, I would pick it up in an instant.

No, hadn't even occurred to me that men would want this.. must be a millennial thing?

Do you find it comforting to think in narrow, restrictive categories that let you generalize about what "men" want or what entire generations composed of complex, diverse people might want? Or do you just do it because you're intellectually lazy?

Maybe it's a "some folks have tastes different than yours and those tastes don't say anything other than the fact that people like what they like" thing.

It looks awesome in person I very nearly grabbed it on my last trip to the Apple Store but ended up walking out with a saddle brown leather case instead. I may eventually get the turquoise also though.

It's a great case! I liked it much better than any of the other colors, including Midnight Blue, which surprised me since I generally like blue and navy.

all these pictures and video reviews, not one took a picture of the gold rose OUTSIDE!
I want to see this thing in ambient light & direct sunlight.

Only because I was afraid after T-Mobile screwed up my initial order for a 6S Plus Gold. They ordered me a damn regular 6 Plus Gold, so when I reordered I asked for Rose Gold so that they wouldn't mess up that I wanted a 6S...

I'll be throwing some type of case on it so I'm not too mad. Worse case scenario I'll attempt to exchange it for the Gold variant I actually wanted. The Unboxing video that's been posted doesn't even really look pink, it looks copper. If Copper Gold is the TRUE colour variant then I'll just go ahead and keep it

I was interested, but the white antenna lines are really distracting the nice finish, and I wish it's a bit more "gold" and a bit less "pink."
The white antenna lines are deal breaker though, so will be looking at space grey instead.

If people judge masculinity based off of iPhone colors than I'm screwed in today's society. I buy and do what I like and I don't care what others think. You should follow what you like and be your own person. If people pass judgement based on iPhone color than they're people you don't need to get to know because they're shallow & judgemental. I sometimes sit to pee at home just to have an excuse to read and kill time. I also use girly scented Aussie shampoo because I like the smell. I LOVE women and I am absolutely obsessed with sports and I don't need anybody telling me I'm not masculine because I'm comfortable in my skin and I don't need to impress anybody. Just do you. I for one would like a new color so I'll buy the space gray 6S Plus and then a Rose Gold 7.

Ha. I bet all the dudes screaming loudly that it's pink haven't even bothered to go to the store to look. It's not pink. Not my idea of pink anyway. I'm pumped for it.

I like the color. My wife and her friends think it's a bit "girly" though
I don't like the color THAT much haha

It wouldn't matter to me since I'd use a case. I'm not sure why people care so much about the back color. But if you wouldn't buy a pink case for it, then that probably answers your question.

I'm buying the Rose Gold iPhone 6s without a doubt. It's just that stunning color. No matter if you think it's pink or not, for me it's more like a copper color after seeing all the photos in these reviews. Really looking forward to get it in my hands, after having black iPhones for years now. I mean, it's all good and stuff, but Space Gray doesn't attract me anymore as the iPhone 5s with that color did. iPhone 6 and 6s with it look boring. Silver never has been my favorite at all, and gold seems a bit too much. :p

So Rose Gold it is! :)

"Sir, sir! Put down the Apple Koolaid! You've had enough."

Seriously though, it's pink. If you're so delusional that you can't see the difference, then I pity you. I can call my Subaru "eggshell," or "satin," or "snow," or "lace" all day long, but at the end of the day, it's still white.

Thank you! Either people are color blind or they have totally given up all independent thought and would now think that grass is red if Apple told them that was the case. This is pink people.... Metallic pink, but still pink none the less.

I decided today that if the att store im going to on Friday has a 64 or 128 plus in rose gold, I'm gonna get it. I was unsure but I want it now. If I can't get it in store Friday I'll settle for gold 128 only.
No Att store will have rose gold anything or 128 at launch

Nope, as a man I would not get the pink iphone. I can see it being popular with the ladies though.
