Can we all stop calling it pink? It's so undermining to those who just like the color. It's called rose gold for a reason. Do I call someone gay because they look it, even if they are not? No, cause that's not what they are or want to be called.

On topic: I ordered it and after all the reviews I'm really happy with it! It's more coppery than I thought which is a plus :)
Whatever it is called, you cannot deny that it looks pink. Why is that undermining? Men and women frequently wear pink items, and it has nothing to do with sexuality. Relax.

Yes, it was called rose gold for a reason, so they could get away with not calling it pink!

Yes, I will buy a pink iPhone, a 64GB...and It's gonna be LOADED with Taylor Swifts "Speak Now Live" video and tons of music from GLEE....

I won't buy the rose gold since I don't like the color but I don't see why that model should be "gay". If you like the rose gold buy it, who cares about what other people think?
Besides, I put cases on my iPhones and I stick with a basic color, space grey or silver so if I buy a transparent case the iPhone's color is neutral. I'd never buy a gold or a rose gold iPhone for that reason, a blue, green, brown cover would look awful on those models.

I am gay. And I don't want the rose gold iPhone. It is soft pink to me. I've seen the rose gold Apple Watch, along with the rose gold stand for he new iPhone, and I do not like it. For me, it is an option for the female market.

If guys want to rock it then brilliant, go for it. No one deserves to be judged for the colour of the phone they use.

Having said that, I think some people are kidding themselves when they say they've bought it coz they like it when really it's because they want people to know its the newest model. I'd have more respect for people who just outright said that than pretended they were buying it because they're some new 'modern male'.

I never even thought twice about it, and went with silver. I don't care if someone wants to call it rose gold, pink, salmon, Bob, or whatever. I simply call it ugly. It's all about personal preference and I just think it's a bizarre color combo. I could care less if any guys bought pink phones. It's their phone and their tastes, so rock on! And yes, I've seen the color in person, having recently bought my girlfriend the rose gold apple watch sport. Yeah, it's pink. It actually looks really nice on the watch, because the white face isn't there.

The people I WILL make fun of are the folks who only bought the pink iPhone so that anyone else will know at first glance that it's the newest phone. That's where the superficial crowd that annoys me can be found. I don't care if anyone knows I have a 6s and not just a 6. Likewise, I don't care what others think of the color of my phone, and they should not care what I think of theirs.

I think you are absolutely right. It's the new color, and I'm sure many people want others to know they have it. If social media has taught us anything, it is that people LOVE to seek attention.

"Sir, sir! Put down the Apple Koolaid! You've had enough."

Seriously though, it's pink. If you're so delusional that you can't see the difference, then I pity you. I can call my Subaru "eggshell," or "satin," or "snow," or "lace" all day long, but at the end of the day, it's still white.
Your profile picture contains a rainbow, so automatically that makes you gay. It doesn't matter if you tell me you're straight, you are gay now. I don't care what you think, but I'm just going to call you something you don't want because of my views

And you are a psychotic cartoon character that likes to bite people? Judging a person by their avatar is not even close to a similar comparison to identifying a color. We get it, you chose the "rose-gold". It doesn't matter what gender you are, you chose it because you like it, or you want attention. No need to get defensive that a large portion of the community call it pink.

It is similar, because most people calling it pink just want to undermine and tease those who like it (not that there's anything wrong with being gay obviously.) But by calling someone something that's simply not true, just to stir the pot and annoy them, is the same principle. Why does someone even need to put in their 2 cents and call it pink just cause they want to put everyone else down? I genuinely like the color and find it more copper than anything

Whether it be considered Rose Gold, Pink or Salmon, I actually like the color and can't wait when I upgrade to the iPhone 7 with this rose gold color. Are any of you guys giving it a second thought?

Yay, another thread about the same thing we already have 5 threads on.

I'm a straight male and I rock pink polos and shirts all the time. I blaze my own trail and I'm not considered a follower. I'm confident and don't get caught up on what others think.

With that out the way, I'd get a Rose Gold colored phone without hesitation.

To be fair, There actually ARE differences in hues between all the different names we give for "white", "gray", "pink", and so on. Most people of course will call them all white. For example, Snow is (officially) ever so slightly more pink, while Ivory has a more yellowish tint, Vanilla has a medium pale tint of yellow, etc. etc.

Unrelated to the quote: If your phone's color defines your sexuality then you're all in for a wild surprise because i'm gay and I have the space gray iPhone 6 (and soon, 6s). NO COLOR IS SAFE FROM THE AGENDA.

My last phone was a SCREAMING hot pink Moto X. I didn't give a **** about what anyone thought because, simply put, it was a badass shock of color. I bought it FOR ME because *I* liked it.

The same thing applies for why I bought the rose gold iPhone 6s Plus. The color is for my own enjoyment. It has nothing to do with anyone else.

It really is unfair of you to make that kind of assumption about anyone and project your biases onto them.

Dude. I played around with the cases on the website and that turquoise one really caught my eye. If I like it enough when I see it in person I just might have to grab it.

I got the Turquoise case, and it's nice...a pretty, muted color. I think it will go awesome with the Rose Gold.

So men are stuck using Silver or Space Meh for their colors? Get a life. Order whatever you like and ignore the insecure haters.

Ironic. Because you too are also expressing hate on those who hate the pinkish hue of rose gold. Who's the insecure one now? ;)
