Same deal here with store in Salem, NH except they told me I can't use movers plus edu so I only got 10% off :(

My best buy is like that. They also don't allow you to use the 10% movers on a price match. Suckers lol.

I just picked up last one 512 silver at BB cascade station in Portland. I argued with them about movers coupon but they allowed it. 1439 no tax out the door. I also pick up my gold 512 tomorrow from Apple pioneer place store. So I'm gonna sell one of them for some profit. Let me know if anyone is interested

Damn you guys with no tax. Oddly in PA there is no tax on sneakers say from like Footlocker. Which comes in handy for expensive running shoes like the Adidas Ultra Boost which are over $150. But man saving tax on a $1200 computer combined with a 10% movers coupon would be NICE!

BTW I did call down and had the guy check over phone and made him go in back to check since he checked SKUs and said none available, and he said last one is in back part of store. I drove 30 minutes hoping no one else would buy it and got lucky

Hello, all! Long time fellow lurker, here but I thought I'd share my rMB buying experience with you guys. I have a late 2008 aluminum MacBook at home that is about to die on me so I was definitely in the market for a new, personal computer.

So, right when lunch started (I believe around 12:15 pm), I decided to give the Best Buy literally a block away from where I walk a call in regards to the Retina MacBook availability. To my surprise, they not only had one notebook come in, but they also had it in the configuration I wanted! (Space Gray 1.1 Ghz, 256GB capacity). I asked for associate to hold it for me, but for some odd reason, she was not allowed to. As soon as I got off the phone with her, I bolted out the office doors and power-walked my walk to the 1717 Harrison St San Francisco, CA Best Buy location. I entered through the front doors and nonchalantly walked to the online pick-up area where the associate had told where the rMB would be located. BTW, I found it interesting that it was already in the pick-up area. Perhaps it had just come in from shipment? Hmm.. Anyways, after a quick transaction (though not as quick as it would've been had :apple: Pay been available), I made my way back to the office and excited opened the packaging.

Here are some pictures I'd like to share with you guys! :D

I'm excited, just walked out of my local best buy with a 256 SG. He said I was the first to buy one and that they had one of every model in stock as of this morning. Used the movers coupon and edu one as well and love being in Oregon (no sales tax!).

Which store did you find one at? Also curious which store allowed the EDU and Movers coupon cause Clackamas and Cascade Station have both shot me down

EDIT: Nevermind! I was so excited to see an Oregon store had them I replied before reading the rest of the thread. I see it was the Cedar Hills location. Was hoping it was one of the East Side locations but maybe I'll make the drive!

Just picked up a space gray 512 at the local Best Buy. Looks like they're trickling in. Best thing to do is to go to your local store and check. If none in stock, ask them to check local inventory around the area.

Apple really botched this one. I'll have to cancel my order with Apple.

Also, thanks to the forum for the suggestions on the mover's coupon. Worked like a charm!

Yeah, the clerk told me he wasn't sure both coupons would work but he said he would try. He scanned the 10% first and said it was good, then scanned the .edu and acted surprised and said it worked as well. I was pretty happy. We both joked about how the apple stores couldn't even get them in stock before best buy.

If we ordered on the 10th with the free shipping when should we expect it if it got shipped today? Thursday like the site says for an order placed today?

I just got notification from UPS Mychoice that mine that shipped today (ordered it art midnight on the 10th) will deliver mid day Friday. I had free shipping as well, not the expedited.

Just received delivery notice for tomorrow afternoon from UPS, for an order I placed at Best Buy this morning. Didn't expect next day delivery. Wow! Feel like I lucked out. Origin for Best Buy package is Fresno, CA, coming to Bay Area, CA.

With this flood of units through Best Buy, I'd have to assume this means they'll also be hitting Apple stores within the next day or two also?

Assume tomorrow as the one I had shipped to store can be picked up tomorrow.

Hello again, guys.

I can confirm that the 10% off mover's coupon stacks with the .edu discount. I just went to the Best Buy in Union City, CA to do a price adjustment and it worked flawlessly. That's a total of $173.28 in combined savings! :)

That's where I got mine too. They didn't let me use the coupon though.

Don't even need to do that if you live close to a post office. I bought a 2015 MBPR yesterday. Stopped by the post office and asked for a "movers packet". She said just one? How many do you need lol. I could have grabbed 5 i just needed one tho.

No filling nothing out no, printing. Just coupon in hand.

As a point of example, I went to the 2 largest post offices in San Francisco today, got 2 movers kits (coupons attached):

- Coupons CAN NOT be used on Bestbuy.com!
- Coupons are often expired, and cannot be used!

So to those who took such hard line stand that "all coupons can be used on Best Buy.com and there's no expiration," consider yourself proven wrong.

Thats odd, because that is the EXACT coupon I used on BB.com. I **** you not..... Maybe i got lucky? System glitch but i 100% used it online, in fact i had two. I tested one on the MBR and it indeed did take off $130.

So im not wrong :)

I will pick one up tomorrow and take a picture and show it entered with the discount. I am a BB ELITE member, but i highly doubt that has anything to do with it. Heres my coupon packet i still had on my desk, i need to find where i put the actual coupon i might have tossed it. Why would i lie, wouldn't you think this would be a pretty petty thing to lie about lol?

I ALSO JUST NOTICED, yours are expired, so maybe on the NEW coupons they have changed the rules. Again ill get one tomorrow and show a picture with the coupon attached.

Understood, was only making the point that blanket statements by anyone (there have been several in here and the other BB MB thread) that anyone can just go to USPS and grab one and it'll work, is untrue. Like the two post offices I went to, many are expires, and exempt online purchases.

It may be in areas where people are a little behind in tech. I live in the tech capital of the world, SF... here NOBODY goes into the post office to change their address, this isn't 1965... people go to usps.com to do it. So it's likely they go through the packets a lot slower than middle america or places where they're less apt go go online, and more likely to stand inline to buy stamps or change their address.

people with regionally expired coupons, do the usps move thing online and you get a valid 10% off coupon to use. it costs $1.10 but thats nada! (to verify identity in change)
