Will iPhone OS3.0 be released today?

I guess I tend to think that there will be a new Beta (today or tomorrow) rather than the release of a final version 3.0, though I wouldn't mind being wrong.I see one more Beta that has APIs for any new features announced today and cleans up some bugs for both the OS and SDK. However, I do think 3.0 will be out before the new iPhone. Just my $0.02.

I hope we get some kind of update. I'm on the beta but it still seems pretty buggy. I'd love to see at least an MMS update.

Happens every year for the WWDC, nothing new.

It would be very nice if it were, but I don't think it will. I hope Apple learns their lesson from last year and doesn't release everything at once!

That'd be a nice surprise - but I think we can expect a new beta that's "out today" with the final 3.0 coming "before Fall"

I think of it this way, if they come out with the update the original iphone user will have great feature's but they won't have some that I'm sure they want.. That could make them want to buy the new iphone that much more.. If they roll out the update before the iphone it would make their customers happy NOW... Trust me even with the new software people will be buying the new iphone anyway..
