So $40 for 24 bottles of water. Hard pass. I don’t understand buying bulk bottled water anyway. As a one off out of the cooler at the checkout like, sure. If you drink bottled water often enough that you’re buying a case, you’d be much better served using a charcoal filter and a reusable bottle.

And if you buy one of these, for less than half the cost of one of these cases of water, your water will stay cold all day, unlike from a plastic bottle. And if insist on drinking disgusting flavored water, you can get some Mio or the like.

I think recycling is best, they say you shouldn’t reuse a coke bottle for instance, rubbish yes you can. I reuse plastic bottles all the time. Then I stick them in the recycling!
We don’t have solar although we’d love too, but we do pay a company who gets as much of electricity from renewable sources and they invest in that too. Gas though is gas I guess? Not sure how gas production is harmful but I’m sure it is?

Man has a long long long long way to go to clean up this place, I don’t think Amazon’s idea or the EU’s idea to stick thousands of satellites up helps either.. sure it might give you GPS or something else, but the amount of rubbish circling earth is astounding!

Sorry went off on an eco warrior rant..

Here in the Uk though, they put flouride into the water, help with teeth. Now some may not like that, but tap water is more stringently regulated and monitored then any bottled water. And the water companies have actually been fined for making mistakes.
So whilst bottled water does taste nice, it does make you think when it’s not as well checked and regulated.

The ironic thing is that Apple pretends to be environmental, at least it touts how its products are, yet it doesn't seem so long ago that there was an article saying how Apple were the biggest customer of a particular airline, and by a long shot. Commercial airlines use Jet Fuel' and jet fuel is still leaded... Leaded fuel was phased out decades ago for its toxicity... Apple will have flown in a number of people for this event.. Ironic lol

You might not understand that the travel requirements of a very successful 132K full time employee (2/3 not retail) worldwide organization with $256 billion in revenue. And that meetings outside of those handled by telephone and video conferencing are often required.

The one where Will Smith does a Fresh Prince of the lamp Robin Williams karaoke version, just to show he is still down with the kids.

Word.
Oh I see. Thought you were talking about some kind of disaster.

Jets do not use leaded fuel. It’s small piston prop planes that use leaded fuel (known as avgas). Not even turbine prop planes would use leaded fuel since turbines don’t work better with leaded gas (instead using kerosene typically).
Yea Jay, lead in jet fuel - not. There is gas in JP-5, but not lead.

Captain obvious strike again, yes we all deserve clean air and water...
Let's all take a stand and protest dirty water.
Tim is a fraud.

Apple always had a cult following. Now it is turning into a cult of a weirder kind. Tim sure does have a tin ear at times. The mediocrity and self-congratulation of some of Apple's recent 'events' is deeply depressing. Not everything you do is an iPhone-level announcement, guys. Now I know why Steve Jobs was so secretive: he only said something when he had something to say. I long for those times again!

Doesn't matter. They earned their money the right way using their talent NOT the sweat off people's backs and not paying them.

Jaden has truly now become an Icon living ... and I'll bet his family is super proud. Not every child growing up to be a young adult needs to change the world to evoke love and pride from their family but this means he's after treating others with self dignity and pride. And you can only find HATE and criticism unlrelated to the effort for global change? Seriously?
You're really stuck in the old world and helping to keep anyone down, like a snake, so only you get a rise up the ladder.

Snakes & Ladders - time for a lawnmower!

Any reason that their message is not effective nor properly conveyed EITHER way? Their making a change that can & will positively affect millions - and what are YOU doing ... sitting on the web with your computer which I'm sure just added to the carbon footprint affecting lives you have no clue about and complaining!

For crying out loud ... people LOVE to point the finger just because without looking in the mirror. Me? I regularly do volunteering to help fund and feed those homeless in shelters as I once was myself 3x in 7yrs and finally got myself out of the rut. I've done my little help within my community and continue to do so - regardless of my income and no assets. I've looked in my mirror and doing something because I give a damn. And you're just spitting for the sake of ... wow.

Because he’s not an intellectual. He’s harming the environment with his product. This product isn’t new or beneficial. He’s wasting energy and adding to the problem of climate change. And the public will buy this crap!

I admit he’s trying to make the world better but there is a certain responsibility behind being an icon. He hasn’t done his due diligence of the true impact his product will make and instead sees a pay check. Unfortunately Tim Cook is furthering this shill by hosting his scammy water. He’d be better off selling the flavour packets! Do you know how much energy it takes to move water?

Apple products are very anti-green, they are designed none repairable and Apple clamps down hard at any company attempting to offer repair to any Apple product.

If Apple was so environmentally friendly it would make products that were easier to repair and not designed to break as that just increases products being discarded were they could of been repaired if Apple would just allow it.

They are today too many iPhone, iPad and MacBooks being discarded because the none removable battery inside has failed, if it was replaceable then a lot of these items would not be discovered, Apple claims for a fee they can replace the battery but over charge more than the debris worth for force customers to discard it and buy a new one.

Apple is not flying people in aircraft using leaded fuel.

The airline in the article you referred is United. Their fleet uses modern turbofan engines like all major commercial airlines. Turbofan engines do not use leaded fuel.

The only remaining leaded fuel aircraft have piston engines. They are very small, mostly private planes.

Would you like them to swim across the ocean for meetings?

More fluff from the kings of fluff. Apple. But in this case it’s disgustingly hypocritical rubbish. Selling water in containers that have to be shipped over many miles is the height of human arrogance, greed and downright stupidity. Which perfectly sums up Apple under Cook and Co.
Hey Timmy, how about a rechargeable mouse and track pad instead of filling up the planet with dead AA batteries.
No, all Tim and his mates want to do is hob nob with the Hollywood elite (sic)

Oh yeah of course they are too important, it is just us peasants that have no super important business to do like apple and Hollywood stars that should cut down on consumption and not have children’s anymore. Pathetic.
What does that even mean? I work as a graphics operator/designer for live events. Almost all my work involves flying somewhere. I fly about 10 trips per year and the rest of the time I work out of my house. I drive a 99 Plymouth Neon and THIS YEAR I will finally hit 100,000 miles on the odometer. I maybe buy 10 gallons of gas a MONTH. I also have solar panels for my electricity. Compare that to the average person who drives every day to a regular job and burns WAY more fossil fuel than I. It’s the totality of how a person lives, not just one action you try to condemn them for.

How long would it take the Smiths to get there via bicycle?

And how many millions has Will Smith invested in this company?

50 cent made 200 million off of his vitamin water investment, which we all know contains many vitamins. ;)
