Are we sure it's not all 5 colors for $29? Don't the ipod socks come that way?

If it's not sticky taking it in and out of your pocket I'll get one (white phone/ Black bumper) Though I wish there was a clear one!

My right front pocket has be delegated to phone duty since the G1 came out, LOL!
 
Not only do I not "get" the concept -- assume the iPhone 4 back is scratch, chip proof -- there is no protection for the side buttons. What is going to get scratched up first -- raised buttons or the metal below it.

Anyone who pays $30 or even $15 for one of these is a 100% gullible idiot. Sorry, that is harsh, but true. If you are planning on buying one you have no common sense or value of money. Even if you get all five bumpers for $30. Ridiculous. This is a .50 piece of silicon that offers minimal protection. At least wait for the inevitable HK knock offs. They'll probably go for $2 shipped on eBay.

Now there is an interesting idea! How about making them cheap enough to have a whole wardrobe of them to match what you are wearing! ( I'm a girl lol) And did all the makers forget there are other colors except black white red blue and pink??? What ever happened to sunny yellow, lime green, forest green, violet, maroon, sea foam green, turquoise, etc.

Would someone PLEASE PLEASE make a CLEAR bumper case??? Attaching a docking port protection cap would also be an asset and help keep lint/dust out of the docking port and being attached would prevent the dang thing from getting lost.

I will be the first customer for whoever builds a clear bumper type case with a docking port attached protection plug!!!

Just take one of those lame wrist bands they give out for free and stretch it around the outside of your iphone 4. By the way, this one is cheaper by iluv: http://tinyurl.com/2d7n2sp

I will be going with a basic TPU case for protection until all the reviews of the cases are out. There are a lot of cases coming out for this thing so its a tough choice.

Bumper does not appeal to me at all.

That would lead me to believe it's 29 for all the colors.
 
What is the point of a stainless steel band with integrated antennas for better reception if you are just going to add a case to it?
 
I still have a foofbag I bought for my original iPhone somewhere, maybe I'll use that if I think I need protection.
 
For $30 no way. I probably won't even use a case. When I first got my 3G I used one but shortly after I realized how much I like it better without one. Just gotta be careful.

Doubt it. Steve would have mentioned if it was a pack in a keynote. He just said "It comes in colors, and they are $29."

The buttons are covered in rubber or plastic that you can press.
 
The bumpers are not designed for protection... they are designed for grip. I plan on buying one because I know my original 2g iPhone was very easy to slide/drop out of your hands but with a silicone case it was very "grippy"-- but I don't want a case that covers the entire phone because it will likely make it too thick.
 
No I'll most likely go with whatever Case-Mate or Incase has to offer.

Case-Mate has already put up their future cases for the iPhone 4. Looks sweet.
 
Worried that the bumper will infringe on sliding the iPhone in and out of my front jeans pocket several times a day, so I will say no for now...
 
I am not sure if I like them I will have to see them in person and will probably put it on my 4 when I buy it to try it. If I was to get one I would have to get an invisible shield for the front and back so it is completely covered.

If you want to see some great looking cases check out the HARD CANDY site. I bought a "ruggedized" case for my iPad from them. The case fits great and protects my iPad perfectly.

The iPhone 4 cases run about $35.00 or so. They have two or three different styles. I ordered the CHROME style last night. The products are of high quality and I have no complaints. Hope this helps.
