Are you going to put your iPhone 4 in a case?

I never used a case on my 3g or my 3GS...so I'd really like to go commando with the 4 as well...but since the back is glass, I think I'll get a bumper for it.
I never thought i would want a white iPhone, but the new one looks awesome, and it looks extra awesome with the black bumper on it.
Im wondering if a black one would look good with a white bumper...but im also worried that the white rubber will get dirty quickly..hmmm

Cases caused scratches and scuffs on my iPhone, if i would have left them off it would be in better shape.

I have only had an iPod Touch but I kept it in a flip leather case and it has done very well indeed. I hope I can find another flip leather case for the Great White Phone. But, I usually get a lot of "party dresses" for my phones and iTouches. It's a girl thing, we like to dress them up. Someone should make costumes for them. Ha ha ha.

I might get a bumper, but definitely not a case. Too pretty to cover up IMO.

The only case that never scratched my iPhone was Sena wallet case. Yea it was a pitb to open it like a wallet everytime but it was a nice soft material inside.

The seidio innocase and the incase slider both scratched the chrome and back.

This is my second iphone and I had one ipod touch. Most of the time I keep my phone in my pocket and I have yet to use a screen protector or a a case. I do have a case for a battery back up but that's it.

I plan to use this a lot as a camera so I ordered the Clip Hanger with the LED light for my new phone. I'll clip it to a lanyard around my neck when I'm riding my bike so I won't have to worry about dropping it going down the road.

No. My old warhorse of a 2G iPhone is all the more perfect for the damage it's taken over the years. How many people can point to a dent in the aluminum and say, “This happened while doing karaoke in Taiwan?” I don't want a museum piece, and I don't want a thick wad of silicone. I want an iPhone 4, and I can't wait to drop it. ;)

absolutely not

never have, never will

I agree. It's like putting plastic covers on your furniture, sure they will stay clean and are protected, but they sure look ugly sitting there covered in plastic. What's the point of buying a super thin, gorgeous phone if you are just going to cover it up? Of course, I may change my mind the first time I drop it.

i'm gonna use a phantom skinz full protection and then a black Apple bumper on my black 32GB iPhone 4

I believe cases are a bit bulky so I usually like to have a naked device. I had an invisible shield on a couple of my devices but I just missed how it felt so I took them off.

I've had the first iPhone pretty much since launch and it has not been in a case. Minus a few scratches on the back, it is in excellent condition. I'd find a case for the iPhone 4 to be a bit of a waste. Especially since it would do away with how amazingly thin the thing is. :)

Speaking of which, the iPhone 4's back should be much more resistant to scratches now that it is a glass back, right? At least, they'll be hidden more? At least they aren't using the iPod touch's mirror. :p

The only time I dropped my iPhone 2G was when I was drunk getting out of a lifted truck... Forgot it was on my lap

Only one little dent on the top right corner, no scratches!!

yeahh I'm thinking a bumper and front & back screen protectors

Yeah I totally agree with you, that's the same route I'm going.

I personally think this option is the best combination of aesthetics and durability.

I feel as if having the bumpers and the screen protectors is the bare minimum in keeping your iphone safe while keeping it looking sexy. :)

I am thinking about a combination of a ZAGGskin, invisible shield for the screen and a bumper (but not for $29). What do you guys think ?

so the ina-ards are going to take the shock? **** that man the more weight to the item the faster it will drop and have more impact.

dont they teach you anything in school ?

I hope you're being sarcastic.
