And shame on NBC for their "she'll regret this every day for the rest of her life and nobody will ever forget this" attitude. Hey NBC, would you want somebody telling you that your life is basically over at age 20? Perhaps NBC needs to listen to Don Henley's Dirty Laundry before they ask somebody "yes, but how did it really feel to lose your only dream due to a stupid mistake in front of millions of people?" Jab jab - does that hurt?
Keep boarding, Lindsey Jacobellis, and you'll still have fun.

They say that other racers spend lots of time inspecting the course ahead of time, while Bode takes only a quick peek. Has anyone asked him why? Is it foolish of him or could there possibly be a good reason?xsedrinam said:More forBodeing antics at the Olympics.
I'm trying to withhold criticism until all the facts are in and he's taken his final event on Saturday, but the appearance is that he's not taking any of it seriously. Spraining an ankle while playing basketball with the boys may be just another "one of those things"; but if it's irresponsible recklessness and that holds true with all the other "night before the event" excesses and lack of discipline, and if coaches, press and peers don't ask him, maybe Nike will call him out. I don't think any fan, U.S. or another country, would take to task any athlete who failed to bring home a medal knowing the athlete did his or her best and took their event(s) seriously.Doctor Q said:They say that other racers spend lots of time inspecting the course ahead of time, while Bode takes only a quick peek. I felt soooo sorry for Lydia - that scream as she fell was blood curdling. Alisa did an amazing job. I wonder if we can score any more medals?

At least you're not in the city it's being held in - I guess I'll just have to get in the spirit. Public transport is going to be a nightmare.
Doesn't hurt that 100% of your country is covered by snow and ice at least once every year.rickvanr said:Canada did AWESOME in Torino. 3rd is pretty good consider the countries ahead have 10 times and over twice the population.
