The iMac and MM has never lost connection yet. The MB and MM however it looses it about every 2 or 3 days.
Interesting. I'll try this and see. Thanks, RumMunkey.Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Safari/530.17)
For anyone still having this issue, here's what I did to FIX it permanently for me.
In System Prefs, go to Network. In the sidebar of available network devices, highlight and REMOVE "Bluetooth".
Reboot and you're good to go. There's something with Bluetooth available as a network device that causes the dropout of devices (mice, headsets, keyboards).
I did this AGES ago and haven't had a problem since.
I bought my imac about 6 weeks ago, now the wireless keyboard and mouse are dropping signal every few minutes any suggestions.
The suggestions here are the best. Have you tried any of them yet? You don't say.
You also don't mention, so I'm not sure if you've paired your keyboard and mouse with any other Mac, iPhone or iPad devices? If you have make sure to have only one paired, or one device on at a time.
The biggest thing that worked for me, as already suggested - remove bluetooth within system preferences as one of your network connection options. That seemed to have done the trick for me 1 1/2 years ago with my 27" iMac.
cheers.
