Hi I understand there is a form I can fill out for the delivery person to leave the phone at my home.

I can't locate the form on Fed Ex's website. Does anyone have a link to it they could post for me?

Thanks!

You need to know, that they still may not leave it. iPhone deliveries are different than others.

It looks like AT&T chose to block authorized releases and picking up at a local FedEx location.

I would not let it sit on your porch if you won't be home. That's $7-800 waiting to be stolen. IDK if it's too late now but you can have it held. If it's Fedex I'm sure they have a similar option, but a bit unclear which it is.

If you ordered from Apple.com they sent out emails this morning with a pre-sign form for UPS to leave it with a neighbor or on the porch. This is why I never order from the carrier websites but Apple direct- the best options.

I still wouldn't let them leave it or have it delivered to a trusted neighbor on your block. Otherwise have it held for pickup for sure.

So, I'm basing this off of last years delivery. Maybe I'm wrong but I see a lot of posts in the carrier threads about people who are just going to sign the print out from apple.com and leave it out for UPS So the driver can leave their iPhones somewhere outside (steps, side door). I live in a very safe neighborhood and fed ex, UPS, USPS have all left packages for me. UPS left a new iMac (no brown box) for me with no problems. Last year, they would leave the iPhone 6 plus as they said too many phones are stolen on launch day since everyone knows they are being delivered that day. When I missed the first delivery, they said I could try and get home for the 2nd attempt or they could hold it at the end of the day at the nearest distributing center. This year, I know I can just change the delivery to the UPS store a town over and pick it up whenever I want to. They wouldn't even deliver last year to my office, since they won't leave the new phone with security or in the mail room, and can't sit around and wait for me to come down to the front.

YMMV

The form (just saw it Apple emailed out today) still says subject to your driver/carrier's discretion. It's up to your driver to leave it or not.

Everyone just READ your sheet you print.

This year, mine is being shipped fedex and I chatted online with a rep and asked if I could leave a print out of my delivery with a signature allowing the driver to just leave the phone. He told me my delivery doesn't even need a signatures.

So when the apple watch came out i used ups my choice to have them held at the hub, of the 4 i ordered 3 made it and the one for me (the others were for wife and kids) was flagged by Apple / UPS and sent back due to a security ie change of address flags to be sent back. So after a bunch of back and forth with apple found this out. So this time I called Apple on Tuesday afternoon and asked to have them held at UPS Hub, well they said they would put it in but they may try and make one delevery before holding, Grrr so now im trying to see should I go by the hub today and talk to them(cant find a phone number for the hub only the main UPS number) or do you think they will get the hold and save for me?

also i just got 2 of my 4 emails that UPS my choice has a package to deliver for me tomorrow

So mine is being shipped FedEx as well so if I'm not home will they still leave it at my house?
