Then you'd have Android redux. If only apple licensed ios to other vendors?
This is what Google did and once the cat got out of the bag, they lost control. And Apple is all about controlling the user experience.

Yes i know it was more of a rhetorical thought on my part. Apple will never license out their primary income earner and like you said, they are all about controlling the user experience according to their reality distortion field vision. Then you'd have Android redux.

This was the decision I was making at the beginning of the year, and I concluded that Apple was not offering the best value and went with OnePlus.
And for some reason the Pro Max isn't on there. But some of these metrics can not be taken at face value.. for example RAM, the iPhone has half, yet has better memory management and more apps stay open then on Android. Battery.. while having ~900 mAh more, the OnePlus gets 2-3 hours LESS battery life. Also your 11 Pro needs to say fast charge 18W included.

True, though I was already using Gmail/Google Calendar/Google Drive, so...Your data : negotiable / secure / secure
I use a lot of the same apps in either ecosystem, they're not very different to me and I don't find myself missing iOS. Although I admit I never took advantage of continuity features between iPhone/iPad/Mac, in which case that would definitely be missed.Oneplus make fantastic phones, but it does not have ios and that is the most important factor for most people here.
I agree that Apple's devices have better RAM management overall, but I don't think the disparity as as wide as it used to be. My OnePlus has never slowed down once, so RAM and memory management has definitely surpassed my needsBut some of these metrics can not be taken at face value.. for example RAM, the iPhone has half, yet has better memory management and more apps stay open then on Android. You'll notice quite a few phones are not on the chart, I was just laying out the decision I was making at the time. And for some reason the Pro Max isn't on there.
