Ok so ive tried flat down.........on the actual screen. It rocks back and forth when pressing opposite corners (top left and bottom right).... when i try other the other 2 corners.... it doesnt move at all...

When i try on the back side with camera off the edge... it rocks as well still. same result.

Your table is crooked.

Do you live in Michigan? They are known to have surface imperfections.

I would recommend trying out your iPhone in the Apple Store next time you get a replacement. Also check for dead pixels in-store, as some people have run into that issue as well.

Yea i checked for pixels actually. My phone is fine that way. But atleast i know my eyes arent making me crazy and IT IS infact concaved it seems

Why are you here posting this thread? If it is damaged, why don't you take care of it with an Apple genius?

To inform others and get advice.

I'm still not understanding why only positive stories about apple products posted here are acceptable to some people.

Let's hope this thread doesn't get hijacked like the others with a minority attacking the OP.

Just to make things clear..... i love iPhones. It's almost the only phone I would consider using. Im just frustrated with the build quality as this will be phone #3

----------

So are you saying it was like this straight out of the box or that somehow it just bent in the short time you've had it?

Well I received this phone about 24 hours ago. It was brand new replacement I had a screen "clicking" issue. Genius confirmed screen was loose. Gave me a new one. I went home, went to bed. got up today and noticed the screen looked off from just visual. But i thought i was going just crazy due to all the media about it.

But i noticed it just didnt seem right. me and my father tested it...as u see in video. It's 100% concaved. I havent dropped it.. its brand new a day old. Did I bend it? It's entirely possible...How? I have zero idea.

I'd get it down and exchanged again before more time passes and it could be claimed that damage occurred. Sorry for your bad luck so far with these.

The fastest genius appointment is Sunday at 5pm =/

I'm not an expert in how it works in the US. But id only book a genius appointment here if I needed someone to assess a repair on a product I've had a while. If i had a brand new phone that's bent I would just go in the store and ask them to swap it immediately.

return it. it looks obviously bent already.

absolutely unacceptable for a product to bend out of shape within first 24 hours, unless obvious user abuse (which doens't seem to be the case)

When is Apple going to wake up and face this growing problem?

Are you saying the screen is off kilter...

or are you saying the device itself is bent?

I'm sure the bending thing is a issue for a some. Why not just add to the other few posts that have already been posted about bent IPhones ?

This video is not a good example of your issue. First and most importantly, that gap in between the table and the phone is actually you seeing the other side of the curved edge in the glass. Color the other side of the phone with dry erase marker more than likely that sliver of light will go away.

Secondly, the rounded edges are going to make the phone tip in weird ways when you press it on the edges. I think front down wobble is intrinsic to bulbous glass.

you rather call OP an retard than believe that iPhone can bend??

unbelievable.

OP... do what I did. if you have the 6+, return it and get 6. it feels a lot more solid.

or just keep returning it. Sooner or later Apple will realize that people are going through this. Apple will never admit it, but hopefully 6S will have the issue fixed.
How is he calling the OP anything? Some people just don't notice the obvious sometimes.... ffs get a life bud.

----------

Of course it does, but you'd have to be pretty dense not to notice that. I am one of the people who thinks the bending is a real issue that needs to be monitored, but if the extent of the problem is that it rocks slightly when placed on a flat surface I'm not sure it qualifies as something to get "beyond livid" about. It's probably a slight manufacturing variance.

Of course it's a real issue.... for those that can't take care of their phone. Millions have no issue... so is it the phone or certain users?

So you went home, placed it on the table and poof.... it was "different" in the morning? You didn't notice an issue when you un-boxed it?

Because then he wouldn't be "special"

OP good luck with your phone and maybe inspect them a bit closer when you get it.

OP: can you do this? Get any free app that shows a graph of accelerometer data, e.g. Sensor Data Streamer. Wobble your phone, take a screenshot, post it here. A perfectly flat phone will show flat graphs. The severity of the bend can be judged by the amplitude of variations in the graph.

Umm, no

Op are the reflections on the screen distorted indicating warpage? Any slight bend in the screen would be easily seen in the reflections.
