OP, sorry about the bad luck...
I own and use digital calipers, alignment granite and precision straight edge rulers that are all calibrated in the thousandths of an inch. After I read this thread, I got slightly nervous and pulled my one week old iPhone 6 from one of the two cases I use with it, the Apple leather and Griffin Survivor All Terrain.
Even after a week of heavy use, in and out of my pocket, climbing two 14,000 foot peaks and countless other work related outdoor sessions, the damn phone is within 1/400th of an inch on either side...in other words, it is freaking straight!
I don't doubt these phones are bending but I am really wondering what the heck is up....and that hopefully my number won't be. I gotta stop reading this forum, it's just too much...
