That's all fine and well but let's get to the nitty gritty..

Where do you stand on Mars Bars, Nutella, Marmite & Marmalade ;)

Mars bars are great. Nutella is good too, but very sweet so I can't eat too much of it. I'm Australian so we have Vegemite, not marmite. I think it's foul though. Absolutely vile stuff. Marmalade is ok.

Puhlease I love it;)

See that's the thing, I suspect it may be a different recipe in different regions - it may even be a different maker / manufacturer in certain regions.

Nutella here certainly isn't like cake icing for example as one of our American posters referred to it.

a google search later and

It is slightly different... Our version doesn't have hydrogenated fats for example, the US & Canadian version does.

I think the UK and NZ ones would be more similar. Cause Murica;)

But seriously, I love most sweet things so I may not be the perfect person to ask if something tastes good.

I am not sure about food but I know American and British tv season length is different. I recently started watching this show called Luther, season 1 had 6 episodes and season 2 was 4. That sucks

The clue is in the name. In the UK it's called a series, not a season. Most series are 6 episodes.

Yes....show me your data? have a link to back that up? Because all the data so far points to the S5 outselling the S4 from last year. So if you have proof of what your saying please share.

We aren't nearly at the end of 2014 and I remember the thread asking folks their picks for 2013 top dogs.

I am holding off on my plan to purchase the M8 on account of wanting to check out upcoming releases. Something tells me while there will not be a blockbuster release versus incremental upgrades there will be some very good ones regardless.

That thread was regardless of data but our own picks so time will tell how folks end up feeling about the S5.

How about you people stop hijacking my thread !! Glad to know the moderators permit thread hijacking oh and are pretty much non existent.

Ugh. I can't stand Top Gear. It's over-produced, too scripted and way too contrived.

I've not seen Dr Who since I was a child.

If you are talking about the American version i agree, the UK version is way better. I watch it all the time.

Jeremy Clarkson owns Top Gear and it has an audience of 50 million worldwide. He has recently got into a spot of bother here, old footage surfaced with him saying the N word...

Dr Who is good! I just started watching Orphan Black and love Top Gear!

Three of my favorites as well--thank goodness for BBC America. Also, must check out Sherlock if you haven't already.

I meant the British version...I don't think I have seen the American version.....

Anyone watch Agents of Shield lately? That show has gotten 10x better after the Captain movie. Hail Hydra
I saw some shots of it in a commercial and it looks interesting.....

That one I haven't tried yet......

Sherlock is fantastic...

But only 3 episodes per series... Though they are 90 minutes long.

I've been Netflixing Grim and did a binge of the first and second seasons.

It is pretty disgusting.

Actually, I was talking about the UK version of Top Gear. It's terrible! But that's just me. Maybe it's because I watch it on my S5 that makes it terrible.

(There you go, on topic again.)

Anyone watch Games of Thrones?

You're absolutely right. But to be honest, this thread should've been sent to the Wasteland about 2 days and 51 minutes ago. ;)
