Thanks...but my iPod Touch has it now and that doesn't always have internet. Both have wifi only. Are you positive? Why would iPod Touch have the widgets but the iPad2 wifi doesn't?
looks like my iPhone 4 is bricked ... update to iOS failed, tried all sorts including restarting phone, now it's stuck in a loop between the apple logo and the rotating circle thing iTunes won't pick it up anymore.... oh dear ... UK user here ...
iCloud not syncing mail or keychain, though? Not a huge fan.
does anyone know if I can have an iCloud account that can have "sub" family accounts for my wife and I's separate devices?

To enable wi-fi syncing you need to check a box in iTunes while your phone is plugged in. Took me a while to figure it out. It's in the same section as the encrypt backups and mange manually options.

Cheers Apple you bricked my iP4!
Cant even switch the phone on. Just get the connect to itunes screen. So much for their fancy data centre. So i cant use my phone just because the server cant cope and there was me laughing at all the Blackberry owners with having their issues over the past few days. Seems they have the last laugh! Ill try again in the morning. Bed time. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz![]()
my ipad2 has no stockmarket app or weather app built in, perhaps thats the limitation.
It happend the same here with me (Brazil). DFU it:

That got iTunes to recognize the iPhone again, but now iTunes is stuck on: "verifying restore with Apple (literal translation from portuguese).
Good luck.
Where the freaking hell is iMessage at?
