As a side note to all this streamy cloudy stuff, I really think the need a Time Capsule based on IOS that can take a monster drive and be your "true" ITunes and iPhoto library. I know we like to put everything in the cloud, but its not always realistic when we have TV series to stream and big photo libraries... Apple's puny sized SSD based Macs don't cut it as "sole" machines anymore under those conditions... I have close to 200GB of stuff just bought from iTunes over 6-7 years. Somebody at the Apple kiosk was asking about that exact item just the other day to sync their families iPhone pics to one location. Why hasn't Apple baked that into Time Capsule... Or heck a jail broken Apple TV could probably handle it with an external drive. It becomes more of an omission when you have homes that are buying more iPads rather than PCs for family members.

I could not agree more.

A single place to store itunes and iphoto data etc, allowing admin and user access to different libraries, and without the current risks/limitations of 2 users using a single library or having your library stored on a network drive. This would be perfect.

I sure hope there's more to iOS 7 than just some cosmetic changes--needs some significant improvements in functionality badly, IMO. Changing the font/icons/graphics is the least of iOS's problems.

I'll listen to what is offered with iRadio but doesn't sound like it's offering anything different than what I can get any number of other places, and it'll likely only work through the Apple ecosystem (vs. Pandora, Spotify, iHeartRadio, even Google Music working across multiple platforms).

As an Apple fan I'm hoping for big things tomorrow, just realistically expecting to be dissappointed. :(

It'll be better because it will actually streams music you like instead of what it thinks you'll like. It'll definitely use the Genius algorithm. In fact, I believe it will simply be a revamped genius but instead of being playlists of songs in your local library it'll stream from the whole iTunes store. and Genius sounds much better than iRadio. To promote it they'll just make the genius button more prominent in the software. iTunes 12?

Well, just quickly off the top of my head.

#1: Unified notification center. So when I read something on one device, all my devices register it. So let's say I clear off an iMessage on my iPhone, it clears it from the iPad and computer. Same with emails, etc. I shouldn't have to clear each one individually, effectively doing the same thing 3+ times.

#2: iCloud that actually works properly. iLife and iWork should have complete feature parity across platforms and sync all files without any loss of data or functions, all seamlessly. Similarly, iBooks and Preview should be integrated and my pdfs and ebooks should sync across all my devices, keeping my notes, bookmarks, etc. in sync. Again, similarly, my podcasts, itunes U, etc. should sync across all devices and look the same.

#3: Unified Safari. Safari should be updated to include all features on the full-blown version. I.e. extensions and other features like better cookie and plugin management (think white lists) should be added into mobile safari and the full safari. Next, all history, bookmarks, keychains, etc. should be synced across all devices.

In short I want a unified experience no matter where I am interacting in my Apple environment. I want to pick up where I left off, no matter what device I happen to pick up, so that I can focus on my actual work and stop wasting time trying to keep everything configured and in sync.

Ooh I forgot about your #1, I'm stealing that for my signature. That's probably my #1 request since I have 2 mac's and 2 iOS devices. Super annoying!

I don't have too many problems with my iCloud syncing surprisingly, but I don't use iBooks either. I agree you should be able to sync your keychains though.

Exactly, so presumably it will do a much better job of playing music you actually like versus the competitors like spotify and pandora, which do not have access to your library to come up with better predictions. They reply on you occasionally up-voting a track or artist, where as Apple has the advantage of actually analyzing your songs. In other words, Apple's service should, in theory, provide better results than the competitors.

You just described Google's streaming music service.

Only difference is you pay with no ads & unlimited skips.

Novel idea, amazing nobody thought of this revolutionary service before.
Wait. Google didn't do it first & it's another of many services out for you to pick what works best for your listening pleasure.

What kind of rumors crap that nobody would have already known.

New sharing capability and new design. Seriously.

Breaking news, WSJ has a new leak: there will be iOS 7 tomorrow...

Or at least something with a 7 in it. And an X.

Taking an existing feature and simply linking it to a streaming radio program doesn't exactly get me excited because it's ultimately just another bridge to the iTunes Store.

Whether you are excited about the service or not is irrelevant. What you said was nonsense, as there are no other apps on the market right now that can offer what Apple will offer if the genius suggestion is correct. In other words, iRadio has the potential to be far more personalized and effective than the competitors, especially for those with large music libraries.

Again, it doesn't matter if you are excited by this or not, these speculations do seem to be an improvement regarding the alternatives, and iRadio has the potential to be far more integrated into the system, so it seems worthwhile for Apple to offer this type of service.

Great another service for the US only, hope iRadio (if it's released) comes to other countries quickly.

Radio, even iRadio is irrelevant. The lion's share of the really good music goes unknown and unplayed to most.

Radio is garbage and 20th century to be sure (except for sports), but I've been introduced to a lot of great low or no-budget bands on Pandora, LastFM, etc. In the era of social media, great music gets found out if it's truly great.

As for iRadio, we'll have to see what it's about before declaring it anything. BUT, given that it will likely be embedded in iOS and probably OS X or iTunes, it will be anything but irrelevant.

Yeah I'm not saying to remove it. It can be useful to find an app when they get buried in a folder. But I'd still go for the option to remove it if I could and add a widget page. That would be dope.

Yeah I agree - i use search often, but it could be anywhere - swipe up from the bottom, triple click i dont know. For anyone who uses a mac, that left screen just makes sense to be a widget screen.

Airdrop then, it is very intriguing on how this is work in iOS ?
Maybe apple would introduce some sort of file manager to iOS
Well hopefully. And also ability send files thru bluetooth please, Apple.

Man I saw this coming... Can't want for the poke at Same-sung tomorrow how stupid same-sung users look "touching" phones lollllololol to"exchange" photos etc... I so hope this feature plays against that lame tap touching thing. And yeah I said that Same-sungs touch feature is LAME!!!!!!!!!

Please new MacPro. Please new MacPro. Please new MacPro.

Maybe if I ask three times and use "please" it'll finally come true :D

I definitely second your #1! I can't stand when I clear Notification Center on my iPhone and then have to go on my iPad and clear the exact same notifications.

I don't have high hopes for this redesign. I thought it was odd that they put Ives in charge of design for the software. Good hardware does not give someone credentials for good software design. He may do well but he may also screw it up by missing the point. I hope to be surprised but I have low expectations for the refresh of iOS. Skemorphism (sp) seems like inside baseball between design fanatics and if that is the big change that is much ado about nothing. Having leather or not makes very little difference to 99% of the people who use the iPhone. It neither detracts nor contributes. But in a rush for change there is a whole lot that can be screwed up - primarily by people who want to change the fundamental metaphors of the iOS. The Mac OS is largely unchanged for 30 years besides bells and whistles. I don't mind bells and whistles but if we learn we are moving toward an Android like attempt to replicate a PC on a phone I will be very disappointed.

I predict that Apple will introduce the following during WWDC 2013:
- iOS 7 and Mac OSX 10.9 (obviously!)
- iWatch
- higher ppi res for the next iPhone 5S
- redesigned iPad 5
- 13" Macbook Air with retina display
- iRadio
- secured mobile payment system via fingerprint scanning

Yeah I agree - i use search often, but it could be anywhere - swipe up from the bottom, triple click i dont know. For anyone who uses a mac, that left screen just makes sense to be a widget screen.

Let's hope the programmers at Apple and Ive agree with us!

OS X overhaul please. I love my iPhone 5 but I spend about 30 minutes a day messing with it, vs. 8-12 hours a day on my rMBP.

This is also true. But there are a million apps to customize OS X, but Apple limits what can be done in iOS.

Is there a specific feature you would like to see in OS X?

Or I can stay on my Jailbroken iOS phone and get everything Apple should have put in it while still in the factory.

Android sucks. However, I expect more from Apple considering how much money they spend on R&D and developer talent. And how much RAW profit they make. Maybe the Applezombies are happy, but I want something a bit more.

i think the state of affairs has come to this;

you have a small selected group of cydia developers churning out really interesting tweaks and what not every couple of months.

strangely, with apple's gigantic might of hundreds of engineers/programmers/magicians, they offer a.. radio app? a new photo sharing option?

i'm not hating on apple. i absolutely love their products but some things just doesnt make sense sometimes.
