current tally stolen from DP

aggie: 2 (dontpanic, abijnk)
sythas: 2 (ricksnagwell, aggie)
plutonius: 2 (koodauw,twietee)
tomorrow: 2 (plutonius, scepticalscribe)

yet to vote: 7

majority: 8

:D

Sythas has just corrected the above, incomplete tally, with a timely reminder that he had voted for twietee (and I was just about to amend it, but was beaten to it by Sythas's own post)...

I still believe that Scepticalscribe and plutonius plotted against me. I'm the inexperienced player here and well, considering my boots got wore straight through doing the Achey Breaky, you will have to look another direction.

Your talented banjo playing notwithstanding, I am truly of the opinion that if you spent less time indulging in tediously persistent paranoid delusions, and more in actually explaining yourself, you might be a bit better off.

Inexperienced enough not to offer a defence when you are a target? Give me a break. Why ddn'y you offer any defence? Why didn't you change your vote, (instead of whinging) when votes began to pile on you?

I will repeat to you: It is not about You (astonishing though that might seem), it is about your team. You have been proven innocent (for now); offer something constructive, tune your strings, and stop snivelling.

Deep breath: I'll be honest. If you hadn't been proven an innocent victim on Day 1, I'd be sorely tempted to vote for you again, if only to silence that banjo, and end your paranoia…..

Instead, and here I am casting about for someone who is sharp, an excellent player, and relatively silent, I will stir a pot a little and throw a vote at Tomorrow, just to see what he says for himself…...

Well, if there's anything I love, it's a figurative podium and an audience. ;)

Yeah, I've been quiet the first couple of days, myself. I was out at band practice on Wednesday and I simply went to bed early last night. I didn't even bother to make up my own backstory; I outsourced that particular task, if you'll remember.

You've played a number of these games with me, so you know my style is to try my best not to reveal whether I'm a bad guy or a good guy, or to reveal what (if any) special role I may or may not have, unless I absolutely have to. And for at least the time being, I still don't feel like I absolutely have to. If the tables continue to turn against me, I may have to do just that.

In the meantime, I'm going to break the tie - Plutonius.

To be fair there is little defense possible on Day One and it's not like SouthernDad went into the woods to privately play his violin. Or Flute. Plutonius didn't really post anything (;)) and easily gets away with it.

Incorrect tally: I blame it all on DP. Sythas may believe it wasn't a coincidence just as well though.

To clarify confusion, we started with alpha and kami with pool powers and one with exclusive powers. Sorry that wasn't more clear.

Thanks! Not what I wanted to hear though. :(

plutonius already had 3 (with southern dad's vote), so he now has 4
posting the updated tally, just to avoid ulterior confusion

plutonius: 4 (koodauw, twietee, souterhndad, tomorrow)
aggie: 2 (dontpanic, abijnk)
sythas: 2 (ricksnagwell, aggie)
tomorrow: 2 (plutonius, scepticalscribe)
twietee : 1 (Sythas)

yet to vote: 4 (moyank, tech god, QoS, woodnufc)

Well, Tomorrow has spoken, so that is that for now.

And also, for now, I still would prefer to hear from both -aggie- and Sythas before adding to the potential lynch tally of either of them.

DAY 2

Sythas stepped outside to take in the new morning, his Hello Kitty bathrobe gently fluttering in the breeze. Then the smell hit him, and his nose bucked in horror.

"Oh, crap man," he choked as Koodauw joined him.

Koodauw dry heaved. "Oh... Crapman?!"

"Yes, crap, man." Sythas said matter-of-factly.

Koodauw pointed everywhere, gesticulating at the buildings. "Crapman?"

Sythas pondered that for a second. "Oh... yeah... Crapman..."

It appeared as though ravenvii had spent quite the night on the town. And morning. Someone really needed to clean this up.

It is now Day 2 and ravenvii is fertilizer. Well he already was. So I guess he's not talking fertilizer anymore? Yeah, he talked crap. Now he doesn't.

Deadline is 12PM PST 6/6. Majority is 8.

-aggie-. Mainly to create more of a logjam. 2 hours and 35 minutes to go.

Right. As I mentioned earlier, Tomorrow has spoken in his own defence.

Things are beginning to look a little interesting, hence it is time to alter my own vote. (Is the deadline in a mere matter of around two hours?)

Thus, although I rather like Canadians, and thoroughly enjoyed working with them, for now, I will cast a vote for Sythas and see what transpires.

Sigh… Experience has nothing to do with it. I thought you might carefully read my apology to you in post 291 and realize that I'm not a WW.

very fluid situation, any of the top 3 vote-getters could go, especially considering plutonius and sythas are both using their votes in a non-defensive way, plus two votes are not in yet.

plutonius: 4 (koodauw, twietee, southernndad, tomorrow)
sythas: 4 (ricksnagwell, aggie, moynak, scepticalscribe)
aggie: 3 (dontpanic, abijnk, QueenofSpades)
tomorrow: 1 (plutonius)
twietee : 1 (Sythas)
yet to vote: 2 (tech god, woodnufc)

not to mention the possible vote-altering powers

Hum, I'm really sorry Plutonius, but I really think we should not focus on you or me right now....

Aggie, trying to help me and Plutonius

It's similar to last turn with some unappetizing choices. I'm not going to switch to either Sythas or Aggie. I'll let the rest of the group decide who they want around.

What's with the non-voting this turn from TechGod and wood ?

DP, can you please explain (again) what makes aggie look guilty? I'm on my phone right now and can't really check back. Thanks!

Can you guys explain your votes for Plutonius? He's one of the better players, and lynching him without really good reason seems dumb.

edit: and TechGod and WoodNUFC are MIA.

who got to 4 first?

why is pluto on the chopping block? whats the evidence on him, if not solid you guys should consider how valuable he is to us?

i would take my vote from sythas and put on aggie to save pluto, but i think pluto got too 4 first?

kinda odd that all the sudden techgod isnt posting?

i appreciate the stoic approach, but does it makes sense? assuming you are not a ww, you likely do not know for a fact they aren't either (or at least not for both) so the doom of an unknown should be preferable to the doom of a friendly known.

and even if you do vote for one of them, the outcome could still be different due to the possible secret vote changes or other events.

one thing i can tell you for sure. if you go, you ain't coming back, :) that was a one-time promotion.

tech was around earlier but didn't vote, and being down under maybe it's a bad time right now.
wood is MIA

In his defense, it's about 5:45 AM in New Zealand right now....

not much really. but there is nobody that really 'looks guilty'.
i voted for him (as a first vote so give that the weight you like), because he just kept out of the fray last round, sticking to a non-productive vote for koodauw, when we had a close race at the top, and i was trying to raise the rubble to get your own head offed (although it wouldn't have stayed detached for long, if you turned out to be good).

so, not much evidence for aggie, but the same for sythas or pluto, so i don't see a great reason to change the vote

the only rationale for voting pluto is -if he ends up to be a WW- that it would give more weigh to day one votes.

as far as tiebreakers, pluto got to 4 first.

Aggie didn't vote for either myself or SouthernDad last turn which is why he was under consideration. He responded to this and there isn't any evidence why he (or anyone else) is guilty (we are shooting blind).

I also strongly feel that it might be a bad idea to kill Sythas and I'm not going to vote for Aggie. I still think that Tomorrow is a WW but it's only a gut feeling.

I didn't offer a defense because something called sleep overtook me. It was a wonderful blissful sleep filled with music, fair maidens and the like. Every once in a while I have found that my body needs this recharge.

I'm willing to test the Tomorrow theory, but it may be a bit late to swing the votes that much.
