[WW] Knee-Deep in the Dead - WOOF WOOF WEREWOLVES WIN

I know this may make me look evil and Harry* for not jumping on the obvious Intell, and I may beat my self later, but I'm still wondering why Moyank, and esp QoS are so much more 'background' this round than previous rounds.

I have never, and will never use being silent/MIA as a wolf strategy. It's lame, and I've said so on many occasions. It would also be a dumb move for me, I would never change my behavior so obviously when I'm trying to remain undetected. I have many flaws in this game, that isn't one of them.

I abhor reading forums on my cell phone, especially WW threads, so I've been absent while dealing with a very sick grandmother. I apologize, it's not something I make a habit of, so hopefully I can get the benefit of the doubt here.

Thankfully it was easy to catch up since every other post was essentially people complaining about MIA players. Weekends tend to be quieter than weekdays anyway, this is pretty well known.

On to the game. My hot list looks like this: Sythas, Pluto, Fenris. Has ajinha even made an appearance? I understand being away a couple of days, especially on the weekend...but I can't recall her saying much at all.

I think you mispelled 'week' ;)

Jokes aside, if i survive the night, i will go first at comeagain and anjinha
If i do not, i will not :D

Good luck.

Hm. Re-re-re-reading roles, - with a view to filtering and thinking - I have just realised that there are four information gathering positions…….not three, as I had earlier - and erroneously - informed the gathering.

Well, then. At this stage, I will happily listen to suggestions as to what might be sought this evening, as - after tomorrow - I have some doubts as to my long-term survival…...; that does not mean that I shall take such a suggestion on board, but I shall listen to what is being suggested.

Yes, but when half of the players who have signed up, - (and this is a voluntary activity after all, - not High School homework - and works best when there is greater participation) don't even bother casting a vote, that does become annoying.

Anjinha has been absent, along with a great many others. I'd like closer look at anjnha, at Comeagain, and I am also curious about ravenvii, and one or two others.

I should follow up my post on the last page and say...

@rick snagwell No offense btw. I do understand that you're trying to nail things down... or maybe you are a wolf I don't know. Whatever the case may be, please don't take my humor the wrong way. It is better to post actively than to just sit there like a rock. :)

But at the same time, SS knows she won't be killed tonight and we know that she won't be infected either tonight (kind of a moot point anyway)

i am working on the assumption that infection has been used already.
with it being limited to night activities, it becomes an increasing risk to carry it on toward the late game.
if the alpha is scanned and lynched, then they lose their most important weapon

ravenvii did say he was going to be completely off the grid until today

ok dp, i was the scavenger. i asked the GG to steal chrmjenkins power when he died. got hunter. just tried to kill SS, didnt work. i have a feeling im the only active villager though, not a good spot.

Don't feel too bad. In every game I played in but one where the hunter was used, the hunter ended up shooting at a villager (The executioner can be just as bad).

if i survive the night, i will go first at comeagain and anjinha

rick snagwell
Sythas

Scepticalscribe
Don't panic
Plutonius
Melrose
anjinha
Queen of Spades
ravenvii
comeagain?

Tomorrow

There are 14 players left and probably 4 WW. Some of the people who have been posting / voting have to be WWs (not just the inactive players).

oh, i agree on that part.

well then, i can expect nobody is a wolf if asked...

Of course. 'Tis the nature of the game. But still, you're wrong. At least about me. :D

Any reasoning behind your "assumptions", though?

Seems like anyone that disagrees with you is a wolf, righto?

You still haven't given any sort of reasons for you assertions
It's painful to watch, really.

At what point does his strategy - which I still haven't worked out yet - become overplayed?

I mean, I get perhaps he's upset I likened him to Marty Feldman, but c'mon... :D

What's wrong with Marty? Especially in that unquestionable masterpiece :D

I hath returned... and I'm honestly surprised I'm not dead yet. Thanks guys... I think.

*skimming to catch up...*

QoS died as a loyal villager of Wolfsmouth.

It is now Night Four. Lunchtime. Err, lynching time..

Deadline is Wednesday 01:00 PM EST (that's 13 o' clock, right..)

at that time qos. it was only me, if my assumption of the wolves is correct. get in line behind SS.

Well, I appreciate that you are probably rather irked and somewhat miffed that your wild attempt to kill me yesterday didn't come of as planned, (I should have been made a bit uneasy with the question 'Why are you still alive?') but, - at the risk of repeating myself - no, your assumption as to my lupine orientation is is wrong.

Yes. That is what I found myself thinking, too.

Never, I think is the answer he would have in mind.

Ok SS, I'm sorry but I don't think you should keep your information to yourself today, sooo what the news these days ?

For the voting part, anjinha for not voting yesterday ;)

Interesting to see the spotlight being shone - and not before time - on someone who has been pretty quiet.

I'll add a little variety to this, rather than immediately leaping on board an anjjinha bandwagon, (not that I don't think she has questions to answer) and - for now, I'll cast a vote for Comeagain? as someone else who has also had a low fairly low profile.

At this stage, we have lost six villagers (Astroboy, Koodauw and Intell to lynching, and Queen of Spades, chermjenkins, and WoodNUFC to murder). And have not managed to identify or capture, any wolves.

We know that there are three, possibly - indeed most likely - four wolves, in our midst. I'd be surprised if the infection had not been used, as this would maximise wolfish (wolkish?) chances - and, at this stage - they could readily afford to lose two and still have a fair chance of stretching things out to the bitter end.

As to other things which we know: Well, we know that chrmjenkins was the Hunter, a power borrowed by the former Scavenger, rick snagwell, and wasted when he took a pot shot at me yesterday, foolishly.

Of the four information gathering roles, (the Seer, the Seeker, the Spy and the Undertaker), I am the Spy.

That means that I am allowed to ask a question each 'Night' of the GG. My role allows me to follow the action of one of the night time roles, and identify the target of that action, but not be told the result of it. Thus, I can ask who the Seer scanned, but not what the results of that Scan revealed. There is a limitation on the the use of the power, as there is on many of them, which is that I cannot follow the same role for two consecutive nights.

Thus, twice I asked about the Seer's actions, and once, that of the Undertaker, the question perhaps predictably, asking who was scanned on each of the 'Nights' in question.

Tomorrow. This may change because he's been active and may have a solid (e.g., Non-Intell) defense, which I hope he will tender. Also, I hate bandwagoning on people just for the sake of bandwagoning. It's lonely, walking on my own whilst everyone else parties it up on the 'wagon, but there tis. Plus up the bandwagon it's all cheap tequila and beer pong... as you know my companion is a bottle of single malt.

Plus, Port & Fur has an uncanny smell and atm I don't necessarily pick up the scent off Anjinha... or maybe she's just downwind right now. Although, oddly - yes, QoS would yell at me - she's much more low key than she was last time out.

I'd be surprised if the infection had not been used, as this would maximise wolfish (wolkish?) chances
@Scepticalscribe I'd play devil's advocate and offer my experience of being a minor wolf/k a few years ago to a team of canines Aggie was leading. He infected on the last day to reach majority, somehow putting everyone off until then. From his explanation, as the villagers dwindled it meant significantly less chance of risking a loss for our team. Not saying you're wrong, just counterpoint.

And, kudos where it's due, thank you for stepping up and sharing your knowledge.

@Queen of Spades BUT YOU JUST GOT BACK! So sorry to hear about your grandmother being unwell. My condolences to you both at this time.
