Thanks chrmjenkins, top notch! I think Corn. PeckPeck Corn. was my favorite.

To see the Queen brutally murdered during photofinish twice in a row doesn't strike me as fair. But she's such a pro, didn't even blink I guess. That was a FunWatch, thought the King/Queen analogy was too obvious but seems like it wasn't really. Btw, King's Cross is somewhat the German translation of King of Clubs; in case the Queen of Spades left the building untimely early.

And ravenvii was bluffing - I knew it! :D
But great track record pal! And always so quick with your voting, so I yield - you can have that rusty old crown now.

jimN - you can see all the roles revealed in the OP now.

woodNUFC: protecting me Night1! Almost too loyal for my taste if you ask me! :D

Well done fellow loyals!

I originally thought twietee had the protection ability since the first night he was clearly the one that was protected. Then on day 3 when I started accusing WoodNUFC, then WoodNUFC claimed to have the protection ability and I thought I had him in a bluff. Until twietee started saying "Woah woah woah... let's back off WoodNUFC if he has the protection ability."

Once I knew WoodNUFC had the protection ability and ScepticalScribe was the seer it was pretty easy to determine which scans were which. I didn't want to give some information away though as I didn't want to compromise WoodNUFC's ability to protect himself. Based on him living to the end it looks like I didn't, or the traitors didn't care to attack him...

Whilst I was wrong about Queen of Spades I'd correctly identified 3 other traitors out of the 4 present at that stage. It's frustrating that my ability to identify suspects will be forgotten whilst my frustration at being lynched for no good reason at all will be remembered.

We're I'm not going to remember your random luck over your poor sportsmanship. Your anger was unneeded and served little purpose in a game. It's frustrating that you still don't seem to get that and value you random selection of players higher. I could likely point to others that were lynched loyals and ended up guessing just as well but didn't throw fits.

Who was the bravosi?

You'll just have to play again to redeem yourself. After time no one will remember your first game back. ;)

Interesting it was Rick. I had my money on Moyank being the sneak. Lurkin in the background and all.

Sythas and Ravenvii were just mere loyals? I really had them pegged as being a special.

Good game all, and huge thanks to our Master of Narration, chrmjenkins! Costabunny, you got a special cupcake for the Big C?

How did you know that?

It would have been interesting if the Sneak was amongst those ss scanned. Almost too easy like that! ;)

But I agree, good game - but a tough one as well. Lots of emotions, lots of bloody murders, some absentees and a happy ending. What do we need more? What? Another one? :D

My list had twietee, Don't Panic, and Jav6454. Jav had to have been scanned by the person that scans dead people since he was the only dead person. Don't Panic clearly wasn't protected because he was dead. So twietee must have been protected.

Oops, sorry. Already forgot you were the FacelessMan. Scary new 'tar btw.

I hope everyone enjoyed the game. That's the first game I've seen go to Day 9, though I've admittedly missed some.

Who's next? :D

edit: I must admit it's very tempting to alter the random results for role assignments. I simply sighed when I saw jav came up for the first bad guy role.

I'd do the roles/actions stuff if someone wants to write narratives. With the recent influx of people, I'd rather not loose the energy by having a game without narratives.

I have a new gametype that I'm still working on, else I'd start one... it seems 'close' but of course I'm not sure how it'd play out (it could be a complete failure!) and there's a few kinks I'm trying to work out... maybe I should rewrite my notes in a human readable form somewhere and let you guys glance over them. I'm trying to solve some of the issues I have with the WW games (for instance it tends to be random guessing for lynching for a while and it sucks to start a game to find out you're killed the first night). Put a bit more logic into it I guess while still maintaining a game that won't be over the first night.

I figured out a nice (conservative) WW theme, but really do need some time to work out the narratives to meet the minimum quality standards. So I can try to host the one after the next one if you guys like, but next one is not quite possible, that is if you're not willing to wait for ~3 weeks for the OP to deliver... :D

Is it too late to be enraged that someone dared to slaughter the Queen?!

Sorry, I missed the last few days, guys. Life got busy!!

Great job good guys and try harder next time bad guys. ;)

And what a great job by chrmjenkins - every narrative was top notch.

I agree this is the most serious drawback of the game. The first day or two is just random guessing for lynching. When this is played in an in-person format, you can use body language to get some hints, but in an online format those clues are absent.

And no, I do not know how to solve that.

They were - some of them got me wishing I was traitor as I so wanted to kill Lady Lysa for playing us.

Well that's why I'm attempting, and likely failing, to make a new game that pulls some from the WW games but plays a fair bit differently.

Now who is being petit.

My irritation had little effect on the game given it materialised at a stage when many of you had decided to vote me off - sadly it did mean that no one paid much heed to my suggestions. I'm curious as to why my picks are dismissed as random when so much of the group's success was based on little else, with the game hastening towards the end after the voting patterns of the final few traitors became more apparent and the high number of good specials meant you had a large number of cleared players and a small pool of suspects. As it was, my final post raised the spectre of 5 suspects, three of whom ended up being traitors out of a remaining 4. Entirely possible by random selection but at least approaching significance.

Thank you to cjenkins for their narrative. I think I'll pass on the next one, maybe I'll try again in another couple of years.
