no one more thing?

Remember, more to come in the next few weeks.

I wonder if there will be a separate press event for whatever gets announced or if Apple will just wait until Paris. I don't think Mr. Jobs likes the French too much right now.

you will have your one more thing: 10:24 am lots more announcements during the next week:D

I figured it out. There's still 5 minutes till 11:30.

Apple blocked all wireless signals so nobody could give updates. And right now they're introducing something HUGE!

So Stevee leaves us for more speculation starting on the weekends and ending on tuesdays. C2D MBP this tuesday???

I'm a little sad that there was no "one more thing," but he said that there will be more to come in the next few weeks. We still got some cool stuff though, Mac Pro, 10.5 preview, etc.

the 30 inch displays are now $1999...not sure what they were before, but its on Apple's homepage.

Oh well...didn't really expect much...I was only hoping for Core 2 Duo across the line...oh well...they should've released a whole new line in time for school...oh well.

lol riiiight...

I'm overwhelmed by the Mac Pro, fantastic job they've done there and at a fantastic price IMHO. I'll be getting a couple of these.

The rest was underwhelming though. Things like *cough*System Restore*cough* were long overdue. Pleased about iChat and Mail updates, but again overdue. Definitely no Vista 2.0 here today. Makes you wonder what the 'secret' items were that wern't discussed.

I honestly expected Conroe in the iMac. Why the hell have they got a mobile chip in their flagship consumer desktop? :(

I, for one, was impressed with the new features in 10.5. I was really wondering what it would include because Tiger seems almost perfect as it is.

As far as the Mac Pro goes, it's a departure from what Apple has been doing but I think it's pretty good strategy. Still, that gap from $799 to $2499 looms large--maybe a new Mini is around the corner (silent update)...
