Hard to get excited about what I've read following the Keynote. Virtual Desktops built-in (already use Virtue Desktops) and that's about it for me. All the other stuff is just fancy once-in-a-blue-moon type updates. Photobooth, Mail templates, yadda, yadda. I need stuff to improve my everday workflow... like the Finder. Forget Dashboard and Widgets. Finder.

Where is the much needed update? It's seriously lagging and is practically screaming for a major refresh. FFS if they need help, go look at Pathfinder.

I thought the keynote was a little disappointing because they didn't really show anything awesome about tiger. The best part of the keynote by far was the unveling of the mac pro. The mac pro is a large impovement over the G5.

I also liked the Mail program. But overall the keynote was not very interesting and Apple's stock showed.

Pathfinder is overkill for most users. If you're so happy with Pathfinder, why do you care about Apple updating the finder?

Overall it was quite good, I really like Time Machine OS X needs it, however It's a little similar to Windows Xp feature System restore, except Time Machine has more eye candy lol.

But damn no new Cinema Displays! lol. New Mac pros are awesome!

he fifth-generation Xserve is packed with features designed to meet your needs. Powered by the dual-core Intel “Woodcrest” Xeon processor running at up to 3.0GHz, this quad-core 64-bit system delivers performance up to 5 times (1) faster than the Xserve G5. For flexible storage, there’s support for both SATA and SAS — and up to 2.25TB of internal capacity. Internal ATI Radeon X1300 PCI Express graphics is included with a mini-DVI output with VGA support. Dual redundant power supplies gives extra piece of mind. And you can control it all from across the hall or around the world, thanks to integrated lights-out management hardware and powerful, easy-to-use software.
-Xserve now with PCIE and Serial attached SCSI

30" Cinema Display-price cut to $1999.

Looks like the current displays will be around for a while. Why else would they redesign the Cinema Displays site?

wow that was a good keynote...now I need to see the movie..... Its good that new stuff comes out, becuase now I can get better deals on the old stuff:D

MacPro EDU - $2340 if you drop to the 2GHz Xeon and upgrade to the x1900xt.

I'd even be tempted to just stick with the 7300GT (making the MacPro $2029ish) for now if I knew how the aftermarket options would shake out down the road.

i wonder what the top secret features are... and when they will be revealed? I'm guessing they will be revealed a day or two after Vista releases, perhaps to steal some of Redmond's thunder.
