Lucky!

I bought my ticket late this afternoon and went back to the Apple site a minute later and seen the 'Sold Out' notice. That was close!

So Apple is a sell-out, big deal! This is a gig that I'm not going to.

Oh how clever and witty you are - did posting that give you a warm fuzzy feeling?

I think increasing speed at which the event sells out is a testimony to the transformation of Apple from a quirky company on the verge of collapse to a business that is truly standing apart from the crowd. We may not always like what they do and how they do it but they have really set out the Apple way and it seems like a lot of people are on board.

For those not on board there is a massive market of alternatives to deal in and with.

This is a win win for everyone really - the apple markets grows which gives them economies of scale and the other big software and hardware vendors have to produce better products to maintain their mass market appeal. Would windows 7 be so much better than Vista if there wasn't viable and increasingly mainstream competition?

The Spice Girls sold out their 1998 Madison Square Garden gig in 12 minutes.

And Britney Spears sold out almost every concert for Circus in 60 seconds and GaGas are 30 seconds or less ...your point?

Wow, sold out... so many poor little developers locked into Apple's platform. I really feel so sorry for them.

Yeah, that will be really funny :D I can't imagine Apple to not mention the leak.

I can.... something like, "We can't comment on an ongoing investigation..." especially if the rumors that they had people at the raid are true.
