GPU acceleration in browsers has been a major PITA for me. Chrome and Firefox always activate dedicated graphics unless I force them to use the intel chip in gfxcardstatus.

Was going to say the Cloud is looking good, but then... wireless contact syncing, like Google does (which also integrates Facebook and Twitter and LinkedIn contacts)? Not so good...

The "catch" is that it sells hardware. Same reason they are able to sell dirt-cheap OS X upgrades.

they really had no choice but to offer this for free, considering you had access to all these services for free on the internet anyways, just not under a fancy name like "mobileme"
