On a new phone, just type in Apple ID and password, everything automatically loaded.

So, if someone got my Apple ID and password, he could then just get a phone, sync it and get all the info on it just like that?

I would, but I prefer to stay ahead of the curve. I will continue to use my gmail account (Always had been free) from an iPhone

Oh yeah, and Google Docs is free, as opposed to shelling out even more cash for "Pages"
