Anyone else wonder if they opened today's stream to everyone in order to address last week's accusations to the widest audience possible?

45 minutes of them stroking their own egos at the start. Blah blah blah. Don't care - get to the SOFTWARE part!

I'm going to watch the Xbox and Apple keynotes simultaneously. lol. Wish their times were staggered a bit more. Sony's later tonight.

So glad I don't have to work on Mondays right now ... I'm not going to get anything done once 9:30 rolls around.

I'm glad we get to watch it live, and the dark ages of waiting hours for video are finally behind us.

I couldn't agree with you more. All companies like Google and Microsoft Live stream their events. I'm so happy that Apple is too :)

YES! Infinite thank you's! It's so awesome to be able to sit down and watch the keynote properly! Really hoping this is a permanent feature of Apple's keynotes. They're so relevant and have such a big user base that it's really unfair not to stream product announcements to the world! Can't wait! Bring it on!

Exactly, everyone else stream their events. It would be wrong of Apple not to!

It's nice of Apple to give a consolation prize to the developers who didn't get a ticket to WWDC in the two minutes that they were available online.

YESS!

Hopefully they've got so much stuff to announce (iOS7, 10.9, iWave (radio), New MacBooks, possibly a new Mac Pro, updated iMacs, etc) they won't have much time for all that filler. :D

"The video stream requires Safari 4 or later on a minimum of Mac OS X Snow Leopard, or iOS 4.2 or later for those accessing the stream from a mobile device."

Are they joking!? Why such specific requirements to play a video? This is even worse than Netflix requiring Microsoft Silverlight to watch H.264 movies.

My wife is home all day today and couldn't care less that this is happening, and I'm stuck at work all day. I should have planned ahead and taken today off. I would love to be able to watch this on Apple TV instead of follow along on blogs via a web browser while I work.

I think you're getting real sick and should go home. ;)

One would have to assume yes.

Can't remember last time he was on stage actually.

I think it was when iPhone 4 and iOS 4 were first introduced back in 2010 when Steve Jobs called him via FaceTime, this was the last time we saw jony ive appear
