This is what I think'll happen.

Some weird animated video will play that nobody really cares about (unless they bring back the old Mac vs PC guys, I loved them)
Tim Cook walks up with a smug face and welcomes everyone, talks about how many people came to WWDC this year and how successful WWDC has been. He'll also talk about Retail and the App Stores.
Schiller will come up and talk about the Mac
Schiller will show a picture of the new Mac, list specs and price
Creg will come up and talk about OS X
Creg will do some dramatic intro of like "And today, we're bringing you the next big innovation to Mac OS X... OS X Hollywood"
Creg will spend 30 minutes talking about OS X's new features
Schiller will come back up and talk about iOS
Schiller will diss another company again with another "my ass" joke
Schiller will announce iOS 8 and give a glimpse of the iWatch - nothing more than a glimpse, just like the Mac Pro last year
Creg will come up and talk about iCloud *yawn*
Tim Cook will come up and "So, to recap. iOS 8, some grooouundbreaking new stuff. Mac OS X. Innovative new technologies. New MacBook Airs."
Tim Cook will bring up Elton John or some other music person that no one really cares about.
Curtain.

I'm actually hoping they follow the rules of math and instead of OS X 10.10, they go with OS XI 11.0 or something. Because that'd be awesome. They'll have to get out of 'X' at some point. (20 years from now, OS X 28.0: Now with Launchpad 2.0: Turns your Mac into a rocket ship!)

Creg? You mean Craig, I'm assuming?

And there's nothing mathematically wrong with OS X 10.10 (although it is a mouthful with lots of "ten's"). Software version naming is not linked to mathematics..

..I know. That's why I said that I hoped they DID follow the rules of mathematics and going with 11.0.

._.

Oh, and yes, I did mean Craig.
Forgot how to spell his name xD

If they followed the rules of math, we would have iOS 7.06, OS 10.92, etc. As long as it's on the same foundation of OSX, they can do 10.304 and it will still make sense.

I think if OS X gets a redesign, it would make sense for them to call it OS 11. There's no reason they can't go 10.10, but it's obviously is a confusing number to most people, as it has been shown many times on these forums.

OS 11 will come along with jOS and Microsoft Ceiling.

I believe it will go like this -

1. Updated Macbook Air with 12" retina screen. Fan-less, uses ARM processor.
2. OSX 10.10, takes design queues from iOS 7 but not so much transparency.
3. iOS 8

1. No, big no. MacBook Air with Retina screen, yes. But no ARM processor. I do not think ARM processors are even capable to do any meaningful tasks. Let alone with all those incompatible apps.

2. I am very happy with current OS X design. If Apple choose to move iOS direction, I am done with OS X design. I do not like iOSfication of OS X.

3. Yes

While it may not be the most realistic, this is what I would hope for:

iCloud:
  • iTunes Match price reduced to be more competitive with Google Music and Amazon Cloud. Chances are an introduction of a streaming service a la Spotify.
  • iTunes now supports Android. iTunes will sync to a special iTunes music app for Android that can be set as the default music app, features iOS styling, supports iTunes Radio and iTunes Match
  • iCloud.com revamped. Access to iMessages, Preview, and TextEdit Documents is added and PC support is greatly improved.

Hardware:
  • Mac Mini - a new Mac Pro inspired design. Moves completely to SSD flash and supports the latest intel i5 and i7 core chips with Intel Iris Pro graphics and the optional addition of a entry-mid ATi graphics card. A special education/budget model is introduced for $499 that offers 128GB and a low power i3 chip with 2GB of RAM.
  • Macbook Air - Introduction of a 12 inch retina model. The 13 inch model is discontinued. The 11 inch gains a higher resolution (not retina) and a price drop to $799. The 12 inch retina model begins at $1999
  • iMac - iMac now adds a Retina display option
  • Thunderbolt Display - The Thunderbolt Display is updated to support 4K.
  • Apple TV - Apple TV now supports 3rd Party applications and can output 4K resolution. iOS 8 (Apple TV software 7.0) updates the visuals to the post-iOS 6 era of design. Apple partners with AT&T and Verizon to allow the Apple TV to substitute as a receiver box for U-Verse/FiOS, respectively.
  • iWatch - a sneak preview is given for iWatch, along with a downloadable emulator. No sales date announced.

Software:
  • Mac OS 10.10 - Named Sequoia, after the beautiful redwoods in California. Features a more flatter look akin to iOS but still staying true to the Mac formula.
  • iOS 8 - Heavy focus on adding useful features to the iPad such as user accounts with individual parental controls and also focuses on giving users more control over their devices.

This... is surprisingly accurate.

I thought the X is a number itself and not letter (Roman X= 10)
It would then be like OS 10 11.

You are right :)
So they will never call it OS X 11..
It will have the OS X name for many more years because if you watch the last WWDC keynote again where Craig announces Mavericks, he said that they thought about how they gonna name the new versions.. They have chosen places from California, blabla... So he wouldn't have said this if the next release would get a complete new name anyway ;)

Assuming that's still the case and the X isn't being used as simply an X these days.
