The big software announcement along the presentation of the new line of iOS notebooks will be "iCode", allowing devs to create iOS apps on this new notebook line for any iOS device, the "xCode for iOS".

iCloud updates that no one cares about? iCloud is my favorite thing about Apple products. And ironically it is something the competition is lost about. Any and all updates welcome.

I agree. The iCloud ecosystem is the most reliable service out there. Blackberry BIS is antiquated and limited. Google requires a lot of setup for each of its services individually. iCloud is a simple login and done cloud solution.

File storage, and other features will likely be introduced in the future. But for the common consumer (not the niche enthusiast) the iCloud does everything and more than they need.

1:00 pm EST: Some video about their vision plays on the screen.

1:30: Tim back onstage. Gives updates about the MacBook Air and says they're introducing a new model.
1:33: Tim invites Phil Schiller onstage. Schiller introduces the new 12 inch MacBook Air with retina display, which rises from a spinning platform in the ground. Crowd splooges themselves.

1:45 Phil turns it back over to Tim, who gives updates about iOS 7 install base and iOS units sold. Calls off critics and says iOS is stronger than ever.
1:48: Tim turns it back over to Craig Federighi, who introduced iOS 8, the most refined iOS to date.

2:35: Tim back on stage. Says Apple is stronger than ever, and plays the same "Designed By Apple" video that ways played at WWDC 2013.
2:38: Tim tells everyone to have a great WWDC.

Keynote over.

This is just an idea for the invitation. I based it on the fact that the next OS X version might be called Yosemite.

I truly believe they will introduce the iWatch.

IOS 8's big feature will be Healthbook, so you got to show it with the iWatch.

And when the first iPhone came out, they introduced it early before they were even ready to ship it out because they said they had to show the FCC or something. The iWatch will need a lot if approval also, so they will show it earlier so they can introduce it instead of a bunch of approval regulated company's.

And they got to show it because the market is getting strong, like the moto360, which will be released in the summer. They can't keep quite until the release that should be with the iPhone 6, IOS8 launch in fall.

Also, they will show a new design for Maverics but will not look like IOS 7. It will just be more transparent, and clean. It will NOT have bright colors. It will have neutral colors. If you compare IOS 6 to OSX now, you can see they don't look alike but have similar designs. They both had realistic icons, skeumorphisim, but now they both will have a clean, transparent look but will not look exactly alike. Hope I didn't confuse anyone lol

While it may not be the most realistic, this is what I would hope for:

iCloud:
  • iTunes Match price reduced to be more competitive with Google Music and Amazon Cloud. Chances are an introduction of a streaming service a la Spotify.
[*]iTunes now supports Android. iTunes will sync to a special iTunes music app for Android that can be set as the default music app, features iOS styling, supports iTunes Radio and iTunes Match
  • iCloud.com revamped. Access to iMessages, Preview, and TextEdit Documents is added and PC support is greatly improved.

...

I really, really don't see this happening. It would go against the way Apple run all of their services.

Apple don't make standalone services (like Google do). That's why there's no web interface for Maps or iMessage or iBooks or iTunes. There's an iCloud web interface, but it's a barebones service that provides basic email and calendar features.

Apple's services are there to complement and strengthen their hardware products. They do not exist to make money and dominate on their own.

Apple have absolutely zero interest in becoming a music retailer for the sake of selling music. The reason iTunes and the iTunes Store were created was so you could easily get music to put on to your iPod. The reason they were ported to Windows was so that people without a Mac could still get a great experience using their iPods.

iTunes for Android would be all about iTunes itself - making the store available to more people, etc. It would not increase the value of any of Apple's products; in fact it would likely decrease it.

What i would wish most for is file sync between all Apple devices. Kind of photostream for Finder.

It would be cool if Apple finally announce their own awesome looking system font. Helvetica isn't the best choice but one of the few ones with such many variants used by iOS 7.

- Some unknown band no one's seen for years comes up and plays.
- Curtain.

I don't care much.

All I will probably see is a ugly flat neon OS X, reharshed iOS and some uninnovative hardware.

This is what I think'll happen.

Some weird animated video will play that nobody really cares about (unless they bring back the old Mac vs PC guys, I loved them)
Tim Cook walks up with a smug face and welcomes everyone, talks about how many people came to WWDC this year and how successful WWDC has been. He'll also talk about Retail and the App Stores.
Schiller will come up and talk about the Mac
Schiller will show a picture of the new Mac, list specs and price
Creg will come up and talk about OS X
Creg will do some dramatic intro of like "And today, we're bringing you the next big innovation to Mac OS X... OS X Hollywood"
Creg will spend 30 minutes talking about OS X's new features
Schiller will come back up and talk about iOS
Schiller will diss another company again with another "my ass" joke
Schiller will announce iOS 8 and give a glimpse of the iWatch - nothing more than a glimpse, just like the Mac Pro last year
Creg will come up and talk about iCloud *yawn*
Tim Cook will come up and "So, to recap. iOS 8, some grooouundbreaking new stuff. Mac OS X. Innovative new technologies. New MacBook Airs."
Tim Cook will bring up Elton John or some other music person that no one really cares about.
Curtain.

I'm actually hoping they follow the rules of math and instead of OS X 10.10, they go with OS XI 11.0 or something. Because that'd be awesome. They'll have to get out of 'X' at some point. (20 years from now, OS X 28.0: Now with Launchpad 2.0: Turns your Mac into a rocket ship!)

Not trying to be rude in any way.. But how, besides Tim Cook bringing Elton John on vs. "some punk band", does your post differ from Xeyad's? It's as if you wrote down his ideas in your own words...

You forgot the part where Apple announces a partnership with Nintendo

OS 10.10/11.0/XI Trans-Gender

There we go, everyone!

If they chose 10.10, it'd sound like they gave up.

If they chose 11.0, it'd be a huge step up, although they can leave that .0 out.

If they chose XI, it'd be classy and simple to get everyone to shut up.

and Trans-Gender describes California perfectly.

Hey mate his name is Craig not Creg. I'm not one to normally correct someone on spelling in a forum but it's someone's name. :)

This cracked me up because that's exactly how Cook says Craig .... Creg lmao.

My guess is similar to everyone else's.

12" MBP retina
Update to MB Air
Introduce new OS X
Introduce iOS 8
Introduce iWatch

From the rumors, it sounds like Apple is really making iOS 8 about healthbook. I find it very hard that they could effectively sell people on iOS 8 without showing the iWatch which is supposed to be so tied in with the app. I suppose they could just show it on a 5S since it has the motion chip, but I feel like that would be so underwhelming. Hopefully they've done some other major improvements to the OS besides Healthbook.

They managed to show off iOS 5 and keep Siri under wraps until the reveal of the 4s.
