This may be the best headset on the market but it still suffers from all the flaws and drawbacks of existing headsets.
That's the big test. It is impressive technologically but the jury is out as to whether it will achieve commercial success.

FWIW, the stock is back positive again.

It’s cool, but it’s a novelty. They really haven’t shown a solid use case for this thing. It just does things you can do on other devices, except you’re wearing a big clunky thing on your head that you can’t share with anyone.
I believe they did, even if they just hinted at it (because the software to showcase it is still yet to be developed, as I'm guessing they didn't want to risk getting too many third-party developers on board for something that's likely months away from an actual release).

Besides the entertainment aspects, there are professional applications for architecture and engineering that they already shown with iPads and their LIDAR sensor. This thing is the same, but on massive steroids.

Whats happened when you have turbulence when flying wearing Vision Pro? How about emergency instructions you failed to notice?
As opposed to sleeping with ANC headphones and a blindfold? Jesus you haters are crazy. "until now every airplane traveller has been waiting on the edge of their seat 100% focused on potential emergency instructions" Come back to earth from whatever planet you're on. AR is the future and it's the largest paradigm shift in computing in my lifetime if not ever. How are so many people cucked by huge, heavy displays, tiny laptops, minuscule phones, etc. This thing is more than an M2 MacBook, on your face, giving you the perfect work or play space wherever you are. This gen 1 product has a ways to go (we'd all love it to last 12+ hours, be AR not MR, and be no larger than a pair of glasses, but it'll get there and in the meantime I'm never going to buy a laptop, phone, TV, or monitor again, this replaces almost every device I own all in one)

so apple is telling game devs to use unity and microsoft's c# to make games?

apple get behind swift, you are losing ground.

I'm starting to see the potential but I think we're still several years away from this thing reaching what they want it to be in this keynote. I'm not gonna be beta testing this one, especially for $3499! That's even more expensive than rumored!
