Ouch! This is insane. Now whos ready to spend $3499 next year?

Not happy with the keynote nothing makes me want anything now, and 3500 for a headset that doesn’t even have vr games it’s just a big screen

Ok, $3499 actually seems reasonable for what it offers. Damn. In hindsight, the price makes sense.
May be the case but it is doomed to fail - only a certain group of consumers are going to be able to afford it. If people have $3500 to spent on tech the priority for most would be a new Mac or big TV, not something like this which is very much a luxury product.

The seats aren't wide enough to account for flailing arms 😂 (But I agree it looked cool on the plane.)
Who is flailing their arms to watch a movie? If anything this results in so much more space, so many fewer laptops coming out, or traytables going down. We just put on our headsets, lean back and enjoy high quality in flight entertainment!

That's only if you don't need the custom inserts and prescription lenses. I can imagine them easily adding another 1000 onto things if you're lucky.

I would not walk around with these on. At home, on a flight, in the office - stationary locations.

I wouldn't even use these in open public spaces until they became ubiquitous.

Well, this is round one of their headset, and we all knew it was going to be eye-stingingly expensive. The next question is: what's the consumer model look like, what does it cost, and when will we get it?
