You're wrong.
It looks like Best Buy document says they're not charging this time around like they did with Vista. The upgrade presells are $49 for Home Premium and $99 for Professional.

What does Apple mean by "Leopard users" getting the $29 price? Please don't make it an UPGRADE with the installer checking for a Leopard installation.

29 is nothing i will buy it.

BUT the features sound like a simple software update would suffice.

Apple is charging for an update.....

It's almost completely re-written under the hood - fully 64 bit, Grand Central, Cocoa Finder.

Some people are never satisfied

Everything is awesome so far. Little disappointed in the September delivery of SL, but it will be here soon enough.

Developers better step it up or else Snow Leopard won't get any gain.

dL

Neither is 29 dollars of snow leopard...its the upragde price.

SHow us an announcement from Microsoft showing us that's the price and not what your pulling out of thin air and desperate leaked documents.

Welcome to technology. By the time you buy it, it's obsolete. Life isn't fair...get over it.

you boys must have more money to burn than sense.

Moaning is a fact of life, its just how better you get at it. if your going to launch a product, give it time to settle in. Apple new clearly they made a mistake with the original 13inch and held their breath upon this new release.

Very disapointed.

it means that if you are currently using Tiger, you will probably have to pay the $129 for SL

Heh...$29. I've just been using 10.4, waiting for snow leopard cause I usually skip systems for financial reasons. Guess I didn't need to here. :p Any guess how much the full snow leopard will be? $120?
