I have the sameee feeling.
no chance. I don't care what others think, there WILL be a new phone announced....however, i do feel that it will be a let down in the sense that it will more then likely just be a bump in speed from the processor (needs to in order to process and send video), and a camera upgrade. I'm in the "i want a face front camera, and i want it now" camp...also, would really dig a notification light (different colors for different alerts...)...
anyway, it seems that someone is always disappointed after these things (right or wrong)...
It very well could happen if Apple made an App Store for it. Hulu has already been rumored to be making an iPhone app. I wouldn't stop at Hulu though. I would like to see CNN, HBO, Showtime, STARZ, FX, PBS apps as well. Since iPhone os 3.0 already has recurring charges Apple TV can do the same thing and I can finally get rid of my cable box.
question: does the A in 10A380 stand for 'alpha'? just asking.

I don't enjoy that the OS X artwork and packaging is seemingly unchanged since the original Leopard. I know that they're not emphasizing features, but it makes it seem less exciting.

He didn't say he was judging the OS. He just said it makes it seem less exciting. Get over yourself.
It's quite amusing that the DoubleTwist company have managed to place an ad right under the Apple Store by renting space from the transit company, lol. I can't imagine it will really convert anyone or have much effect but here's to an enterprising idea!
Seeing how the other phones listed say "T-Mobile" my guess is NTB means "Non T-Mobile"
I agree, G4 is just wrong. But 'iPhone Video'?! Come on. Not only is the name false, it even sounds horrible when saying it out loud. Might as well call it 'iPhone Touch' then ... /s

i disagree with those that think there is going to be some hot new rocking iphone. any changes will be small. better camera, more ram. but not a major change like there was from the first to the second. there's just no reason for it. certainly no body change or we'd have case rumors. and there's no new cellular network to upgrade for.
the iphone probably. Snow Leopard not likely. they will want to make an event out of it and the 3rd party folks haven't had time to get their ducks in row yet. I'm thinking at least a month from now on that one. maybe with some upgrades to the pro apps like final cut at the same time.
hulu would cut into itunes tv and movies sales. so that's not likely to happen.
as for apps. why would the apple tv need it. the only apps you might use would be like hulu and cut into sales
if you want hulu and all that, skip the apple tv and just hook a mac mini to your television. then you can have hulu, tv.com, youtube, itunes etc.
i think that it is possible that apple will in the near future include either a built in 3g on all laptop at a matter of course, or have it as an online store option to add.
but I don't know about this notion of them making a smaller 'netbook'. unless maybe they are going to ditch making the air a full computer (barely has enough power for that anyway)

what's wrong with video? the iPod was dubbed Photo, then video..now the iPhone might gets named video because it finally can record video.

I compare it with some photos from several parts that presented earlier, and especial the rectagular button in the bottom seem to fit . I thought it might be more than a coinsidence.

Developers attending WWDC will get 10A380. The remaining developers that were shut out due to WWDC selling out will get it about a month later. Happens every time.

How about just 'iPhone' ... worked with Apple's computers. If you need to get into technical detail, you can say just like with the macs, e.g. "Mid-2009".
