Click the magnifying glass in the upper right, then click the little cog and the advanced options appear. This may have been posted in some of the threads but where is the "Advanced Search" where you can select a word(s) and search just thread titles for specific word(s)???

Doesn't seem to work here...it's it possible the'last read ' position got lost in conversion. Clicking the thread title just goes to the first post for me.@twynne Clicking the thread title next to the little blue dot accomplishes the same thing.
Did you perhaps click on "Mark Forums Read" at some point in between? That would have reset the Read counter for you.In the past I clicked on Today's posts, and got 36 or so pages of new posts. Even clicking on New Posts gave me pages and pages. Now I click New Posts (Today's posts seems to have vanished), but I get only 4 pages. What am I missing?

Nope. I have never clicked that. This place moves too fast to ever do that without missing something!
What I normally do is click on New Posts, let it load, then right-click on Mark Forums Read to open that in a new tab. Go to the second tab and click the Mark forums read button (not the menu item), then go back to the first tab and read through the new posts. This way you don't miss anything.Nope. So it appears xenforo searches were limited to 200 results. That is 4 pages at 50 per page. I just upped it to 500, so that gives you 10 pages. Not sure what the realistic upper limit to that is. I think our old system capped at 1000.

It's a start. Now if you can just get people to stop posting so much so fast....When you first did the upgrade to XF, it gave me 8 pages. Ten is definitely an improvement all the way around.
… unread … because the redesign has not, yet, made long and/or complex topics attractive …
Perceived barriers to reading
Enlarged avatars … there's not yet a user preference to suppress them.
